- In Season 4, Apocalypse plans to turn everyone into mutants; it's mentioned that most of them won't survive it.
- Characters have near death experiences throughout the series, though they are non-graphic.

- Plenty of suspense, especially in later episodes. Some of the fights can get intense.
- Blob kidnaps Jean in one episode; though nothing happens, it can be somewhat unsettling.
- Hank McCoy's transformation into his blue, hairy form might scare some younger children.
- Two potentially frightening characters are Legion and Apocalypse.

Violence & Gore
- The mansion that the X-Men live in explodes, reducing it to rubble and nearly killing a group of teenagers.
- Mystique is turned into a statue, and Rogue pushes her off of a cliff, presumably to her death; later she is revealed to have survived or been revived by Apocalypse.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- In a dream/memory, Mystique accidentally drops Kurt as a baby into a river while being chased. Everything turns out alright, but it can be somewhat frightening.
- In one episode, Rogue loses control of herself and loses her sanity (for this episode only). The entire episode is very intense.
- Magneto, Professor Xavier, Storm, and Mystique are turned into Apocalypse's Horsemen. They are likely to be somewhat scary, especially Xavier.
