It’s here and you’ve been waiting for it. It’s Nashville. We are first introduced to Rayna James (Connie Britton) the reigning queen of country music when she’s chasing her children with rollers in her hair. She’s a regular Reba Martina Faith Shania sorta thang. Her husband, Teddy (Eric Close) swoops in to take the kids.
“Why does mom have to go to work? I thought we were rich,” asks one small human.
“We are but now we’re a different kind of rich called ‘cash poor.’” But so rich in charisma.
We cut to Rayna on stage at the Grand Ole Opry and listen guys, Connie Britton is doing her own singing. I know this because I read an article about it and she said she did. She also said she played Dolly Gallagher Levi in Hello, Dolly! in high school. So we can all relate to Connie Britton.

TheInsider.com caught up with Top Chef: Texas runner-up Sarah Grueneber, who is the Executive Chef of Spiaggia in Chicago. This season of Top Chef was one of the most controversial in the history of the Bravo show -- and Sarah is no stranger to controversy. Read on to see what the chef had to say about what she really thinks about being runner up, being called a bully, and what she really thinks of fellow cheftestant Beverly Kim.
The Insider: How does it feel to be runner-up?
Sarah: It feels great. Any other circumstance would be awesome too, but the fact that the judges commented that Paul [Qui] and I had the best food out of any finale, how can you beat that? Basically if it was any other season I would have won! It just pushes me to keep going in the right direction and keep on this path that Top Chef has really inspired...

Feuding celebrity chefs Anthony Bourdain and Paula Deen went another round Sunday at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival in Florida. With both chefs on hand for separate cooking demonstrations, Bourdain, 55, wasted no time slamming Deen, 65, yet again for agreeing to endorse a diabetes medication after years of cooking decadent foods. It began when N.Y.C. chef Eddie Huang asked Bourdain: "Aren't you a hypocrite - smoking on your show and making fun of this nice old lady with diabetes?" As the crowd hooted and hollered, Bourdain replied: "You're right. I did smoke cigarettes for a lot of years on my show.

This is a Recap of Top Chef D.C. (Season 7), Episode 12, Part 1 of the Finale, originally airing September 8, 2010. D.C. now gives way to D-Cingapore. What? Just move on from this Italics part. Welcome to Singapore! The culinary capital of the area right around Singapore! Your host for the Finale will be Seetoh, the Asian Cee-Lo, and owner of the lamest lower-third of the entire season: “King of Street Food” — it’s like being the King of Pop, but homeless. Cee-Lo takes the chefs around to different street food stands and introduces them to the many spices and styles of Singaporese (Singaporian? Singlish? Gotta be Singlish) cuisine, and in the middle of their little food jaunt, the chefs encounter Padma. Oh no, a twist! Bravo didn’t just send them to Singapore to chill and look at that modern-ass skyline building! The chefs will be cooking in a street space...
