George Lucas, a number of Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) alumni, and a new generation of artists and filmmakers inspired by McQuarrie's body of work remember the artist and discuss his influence on their careers and the film industry in general. McQuarrie's designs were instrumental in securing funding for Star Wars (1977), as well as helping define the look of the original Star Wars trilogy.
