The Fugitive (1963–1967)
3/10
A good idea presented badly...

I had heard so-many good things about this show before I finally managed to watch it for the first time. Since that first viewing I have probably seen every episode at least once.

What did I see? Geez, where do I start?

This was a show with a good and interesting premise. The main problem is with the downright unlikelihood of the basic plots of almost all of the episodes. There are so many things about the show that are simply ridiculous. The fugitive is being chased by a lawman that we are told is obsessed with capturing him.

The fugitive goes from town to town where nobody knows him. Wherever he goes, within a very-short time, somebody is onto his identity,in every single darn episode.(If this guy was that easy to spot he'd have surely been caught long ago). Eventually,it always goes something like this: the police corner the fugitive in a building. The police enter the building through the front-door. The fugitive exits the building by the back door, and disappears into the darkness, until next week's episode. The policeman that is supposedly obsessed with capturing the fugitive never seems to figure-out how to capture him in 120 episodes.

The show isn't completely bad or without entertainment value but it definitely strains credibility and it is quite often laughably silly and/or hokey. 5/10.
