A Hilarious non-gay gay film!

'Happy, Texas' is a hilarious non-gay gay film about a serious case of mistaken identity. It has all the elements of a gay comedy without being one.

After an accident, escaped convicts Wayne (Steve Zahn) and Harry (Jeremy Northam) end up in the small town of Happy in Texas. Being mistaken for a gay couple who organizes pageants, they decide to play along when they learn how much they are to be paid. Only, they know nothing about pageants - and they're supposed to be married! Needless to say, hilarious moments ensue.

Whilst in town coaching a bunch of unruly young girls, their main objective becomes robbing the bank - a task that seems almost too easy given the relaxed nature of the townsfolk. Yes, I suppose the film is predictable, but it certainly is a hell of a lot of fun!

The casting is excellent. I especially enjoyed William H. Macy as Sheriff Chappy, who plays a gay character who falls for Harry. Fun and laughter all the way! Chappy is also the film's most endearing character.
