Truisms are rarely entertaining

Warning: Spoilers
Although the story may try to reach a broad spectrum of relationships it doesn't connect when grasping the salient qualities of what makes the commitment to the most important marriage decision. I enjoyed and applauded watching Traci taking the time to follow up with her past relationships but there could have been a retrospective on the anxieties of day-to-day long-term commitment. How that familiarity can breed its own contempt and how do relationships deal with long-term mundanities? What happens with forces outside the relationship? How do they affect the relationship? The influences pertaining to loss of job, potential in-laws, friends and of course the ever probable ever-lingering questions of conception and the directions relationships head while raising children of their own.
