During the night, a man kills another man and a hiker finds the body in the morning. The CSIs investigate the crime scene and the viewer see his killer, Paulie Krill, normally working in his cubicle. The team proceeds the investigation and Catherine finds the victim's ID, Jason Deveraux, scanning a chip implanted in his arm.
