Sherlock Holmes and Bad Luck
16 January 2023
Grissom, Greg, Sara and Capt. Brass come to the house of Dennis Kingsley, who was found murdered in an apparent suicide. Dennis impersonated Sherlock Holmes in a group with three other friends every Thursdays to discuss cases of the famous detective. The greatest mystery in his death is where is the gun; therefore, they do not believe he committed suicide. Grissom assigns Greg to carry on the investigation of the difficult case as his final proficiency test. Meanwhile. Warrick, Nick and Det. Chris Cavaliere investigate the death of the free-spirit Cory Demayo, where his jeep missed a curve in the highway. They find that Demayo never used the brake and they do not find the "causa mortis". They investigate his roommate Lyle Davis that explains the bruise on Demayo's forehead occurred while windsurfing. Dr. Robbins does not find any evidence why Demayo died. Ecklie presses Catherine to close the case, but she allows Warrick and Nick to proceed the investigation.

"Who Shot Sherlock?" is a great episode of "CSI" with two mysterious cases. The death of a man that impersonate Sherlock Holmes is only solved in the very ending, when Grissom uses his experience to help Greg. The bad luck of Cory Demayo is amazing, with many coincidences happening simultaneously. My vote is eight.
