What is truly astonishing about the reviews on here is, the complete lack of people complimenting Brock Peters in his outstanding performance as the accused, Tom Robinson. His role easily matches Peck and Paxton in their incredible performances in this. Loved Windom's role as well. The film is a true masterpiece that needs to be watched by those who have not. The mood, the accusations and emotions, especially by Peters in this are some of the best I have ever seen portrayed in a film. The overall cast in this is outstanding, Duvall was unreal. A perfect example of injustice in society of yesterday, many pointers to such injustices of today.
