If this film doesn't make you salivate...you are dead inside!

Hector Elizondo is at the center of this family tale of a Mexican American chef and widower along with his three adult daughters. The eldest is a teacher, the middle has her MBA but is still looking for the right fit, and the youngest who is on the brink of going to college when she meets a free spirited Brazilian. Food plays a large role in this film and the food porn is amazing...a colorful appeal to your senses, if you are a foodie at all you will be drooling...and very hungry after this film.

Hector Elizondo is surrounded by women in this film...including Rachel Welch who plays a divorcé eager to remarry and with him in her sites. He and the food really shine.

This is a film that I recommend to foodies, those interested in Mexican American cinematography and anyone who loves exploring the father/daughter or family relationships.

One of the sweetest relationships is that of a young girl and Hector Elizondo...her mom is going through a divorce and Hector starts packing her better...drool worthy lunches. The two of them are adorable!
