Sometimes Caruso's Kelly is so overbearing. He uses that over the top threat stuff over and over. He's always going to hurt someone like they've never been hurt before. People seem to look away whenever he acts that way. Sipowicz is much less of a baddie. Here we have some guys who are the worst of the worst and they will get out unless a woman they know testifies. It's obvious that her type of person's life is meaningless as long as there is a conviction. Roberts keeps coming to John with stuff. His career is ruined. There never seemed to be due process.
