At first, I was surprised at that this movie has a running time of 169 minutes. However, I didn't think it is too long after watching the movie. The story is clear, and we can see many beautiful countries around the world in this movie. I especially admired the scene of Kamakura, Japan. When I watch a movie, I sometimes see Japanese characters or depiction which are rather exaggerated. I don't know much about the life of the people in Kamakura in the late 19th century, but I thought this movie depicts the Japanese people at that time carefully. While, the main character, Phileas Fogg is a typical English gentleman, and his behavior is exaggerated than the original novel by Jules Verne. Some people might don't like this depiction.
There is not a unexpected final scene in this movie, but I enjoyed it much and I became interested in other classic movies.
