Pete and Myka are sent to retrieve an artefact from Las Vegas… but is it the real Myka?

Warning: Spoilers
This episode opens with Pete and Myka fighting in a hotel room in Las Vegas before the action jumps back fourteen hours. They are checking inventory in the warehouse; well Myka is, Pete is playing ping pong against his reflection in Lewis Carroll's mirror. As Myka remonstrates with Pete the mirror is knocked and nearly falls over; in the confusion the disco ball from Studio 54 falls and there is a flash of light, accompanied with disco music. Afterwards Myka seems slightly different. Shortly afterwards Myka and Pete are sent to Las Vegas to find out how a young couple keep winning without raising the suspicions of the casinos. While they are away it is discovered that a reflection of what appears to Myka is trapped in the mirror… Artie fears that this reflection is dangerous, Claudia thinks it might be the real Myka; if she is right Pete might be with somebody very dangerous.

I rather enjoyed this episode; it provided plenty of laughs and a good sense of danger. The artefacts were rather fun; I especially liked the use of the disco ball. The way Myka was caught in the mirror was good although few people won't realise straight away that this is the real Myka as we'd seen her acting out of character in the prologue. The cast does a fine job; it was fun watching Joanne Kelly playing the out of character Myka and I was glad to see Allison Scagliotti return as Claudia; her scenes with Saul Rubinek's Artie are a joy to watch. Overall I thought this was a fun episode.
