I'm a big TBBT fan, I love the show and always will (hopefully). From what I can recall, each finale has been interesting and exciting but seriously, nothing much happens in this lackluster of an episode.
If Penny or Emily had revealed to be pregnant than that would have definitely interested me, in fact I don't really care what had happened so long as it was different to Sheldon revealing that he'd been preparing to propose to Amy. Is weddings all that the creators can think up for these couples to go through? First Howard and Bernadette, then Penny and Leonard and now Sheldon and Amy.
I wasn't too surprised Amy had broken up with Sheldon but now that he revealed a ring, it's painfully obvious they'll get back together. So pray tell me what was the point in her breaking up?
Leonard once again continues to be whiny and clingy and causes drama so no surprise there.
Howard continues to be someone who needs Bernadette to do all the tough things like kick Stewart out of the house but fail, so I fail to see why we needed to see any of that.
Raj gets little screen time with Emily and even then she's at risk (after 1 season) of being dumped and never seen on the show again - despite being the most unique and interesting woman on the show.
I'd like to finish up by saying that I will be looking forward to season 9 but this was just a disappointing finale.
