Good stuff!!

Warning: Spoilers
There are moments when Desperate Housewives approach soap opera, esp. when it all becomes about unhappy love lives and dull domestic or work-related problems that might as well be found in any other drama series and don't really have anything specific to say about these particular characters and situations. A lot of Susan and Lynette's lives seem to be about these things, although I'm all for Lynette having quit her job to enter a family business instead. In fact I'm generally all for telling sleazy, bossy C.E.O.s that they can go screw themselves.

Anyway! This show is a comedy, and usually a well-told one, and let's hope it remembers its roots before the soap opera bits begin to stifle it. What makes this show worth watching for me is the wildly entertaining lives of Bree and Gabrielle! Some elements may be absurd, but it's a hoot! Marcia Cross is so classy, and absolutely gives the best performance of the cast - and I'm sorry, but I can't help mentioning that her cleavage has been really eye-catching these last couple of episodes. Oh, the changes that motherhood brings on...

Anyway! Gabrielle's life is almost as entertaining to follow. Stalked by an 18-year-old borderline psychotic billionaire? Man, comedy is *epitomized* in concepts like that! Amazing fun! :-)

Good episode. This show is still going strong.
