Ho-hum,...this isn't exactly a great or memorable episode of BABYLON 5. In fact, if you are not a fan of the series, don't watch this episode, as it has very little to do with the ongoing plot and it just isn't all that compelling. As a fan, I found the idea of the main plot to be pretty interesting but that's really about it--and I certainly don't think it's among their better shows.

The episode begins with an alien creature trying to take over the body of a "lurker" (a poor displaced person that lives in "down below"--the shabby part of B-5). However, the man dies and when the body is discovered, at first Franklin can't figure out how the man died. Later, after a very detailed autopsy, he realizes that some sort of alien creature was wrapped around the man's spinal cord and so there are great concerns about some sort of invasion. So far, this episode was pretty cool and it reminded me of one of the best episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation--the one with the evil parasites that burrowed in through the neck and tried to seize control of the Federation! Unfortunately, the "invaders" are actually very benign and the show ends with a whimper. Ho-hum.
