It is definitely not one of the movies that you can watch over and over again but it wasn't really bad. I didn't get bored though I expected to see an alien because of the title. So that's what we have: An interesting plot (after two members of a starship crew wake from the hyper sleep they realise they've been traveling in space for one year instead of 2 months which is the time they need to get to Mars which is colonised in the future), an average direction and an average casting, an awfully reduced set, an alien cargo with no alien, but yet a nice way to spend a couple of hours. It is certainly inspired by "Alien", but don't watch it if you're into aliens because you won't see any alien, it was more like a starship adventure. (The F/X wasn't bad). 6/10.
