Poll: Celebrities Who Refused an Oscar

The Oscars are the prime awards which are given to the best performers as well as various other professionals who are a part of the filmmaking process. Every year, the best of Hollywood is presented with Golden statues recognizing their work in the previous year. Everyone looks forward to the night when sometimes unknown actors are catapulted into the big leagues.

An Oscar win gives an immense recognition as well as opens the floodgates of tons of offers. It is surprising to even think about the fact that anyone would refuse an Oscar.

    The legendary actor won his second Oscar for best actor for The Godfather in 1973 but refused to accept the Award. The actor was protesting against the treatment of Native Americans by the Hollywood fraternity and did not accept the Award.
