According to a recent report from TV Line, "The Good Wife" Finn Polmar star, Matthew Goode, is definitely leaving the show, so we won't be seeing Finn in the upcoming season 7. There's a very slight possibility that he could return for an episode or two, but it's very unlikely. Instead, Matthew has a new gig lined up by returning to reprise his old character, Henry Talbot, in the 6th and last season of Downton Abbey. Finn's first appearance on The Good Wife, was in the 2nd half of season 5 after Will got killed off, and will now be leaving after rejecting Alicia’s offer to join her nascent law firm. In addition to that, Archie Panjabi aka Kalinda, won't be coming back for season 7 as well, so that's double unhappy news. Season 7 premieres this Fall 2015.
