Kajabi is giving its high-profile users some VIP treatment. At VidCon, Kajabi President Sean Kim announced a partnership with The Hello Group that will spawn a VIP Program catered to educationally-minded creators.
The partnership will provide new revenue opportunities for creators who want to develop “digital knowledge products.” Those projects, such as courses, podcasts, memberships, and communities, play a key role in Kajabi’s business model. By helping its users run marketing campaigns, connect with fans, and design their own courses, Kajabi has delivered more than $5 billion in creator payouts since its launch more than a decade ago. The majority of those payouts have occurred over the past three years.
With help from The Hello Group, Kajabi is offering guidance and mentorship to busy creators who want to get into the digital course market. VIPs who enroll in Kajabi’s new program will have production and marketing costs covered for the knowledge products they create.

A company that describes itself as the “best-kept secret” in the creator economy has passed a major milestone. Kajabi, a robust platform that lets users design and sell their own courses, has now paid out $5 billion since its inception.
Kajabi’s toolkit helps creators run marketing campaigns, utilize content templates, and engage with fans via Crm tools. The company’s most notable feature is its DIY course creation platform, which creators like Matt Steffanina and Cassey Ho have used to monetize their passions. In total, Kajabi counts 60,000 creators among its user base.
Though Kajabi’s history dates back more than a decade, much of its growth has occurred over the past three years. In 2020, it announced $1 billion in payouts. Since then, it has quintupled that figure. A big factor in Kajabi’s growth spurt has been its ability to support creators impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. For example, Steffanina turned...

I'm no dancer, but there's something about Cardi B and Bruno Mars's "Please Me" that makes me want to get up and move. When I feel that urge, instead of subjecting embarrassed onlookers to my own rhythmic challenges, I watch Matt Steffanina's choreography in the comfort of my own home. Inspired by the steamy original music video, Matt's moves with Tori Caro mimicked the chemistry between Cardi and Bruno. It even got a shout-out on Twitter from the queen herself!
Add this routine to the list of our favorite dances choreographed by Matt, which also includes his "Girls Like You," "Taki Taki," and "Mi Gente," and "Finesse" videos.

Maroon 5 received a lot of buzz when they released the star-studded "Girls Like You" video, which spotlighted over 20 female celebrities across various industries, including Tiffany Haddish, Ellen DeGeneres, Danica Patrick, and Cardi B, who is featured on the song. Now, some sharp dance choreography has taken the sweet song to the next level.
At the Millennium Dance Complex in La, several groups of dancers showed off their "Girls Like You" routine created by Matt Steffanina. While we loved the original video, we somehow can't imagine Adam Levine pulling off this type of choreography, but hey, it's Ok to leave it to the professionals.

Old-school YouTube multichannel networks that have tens of thousands of creator partners are on their way out. But digital-media company Studio71 continues to strategically add big names to its network.
Hannah Hart is among the newest wave of Studio71’s partners; previously, she was affiliated with Kin Community, a women-targeted McN. With the move, she joins longtime collaborators Mamrie Hart (no relation) and Grace Helbig, both of whom are signed with Studio71 and host daily talkshow “This Might Get…” produced by the studio.
Under the pact, Studio71 will help manage Hannah Hart’s digital strategy to grow her online presence. The comedian-foodie-author’s fanbase includes 2.5 million YouTube subscribers and more than 5.3 million followers across platforms. Hannah Hart is repped by UTA.
In addition, Studio71 announced new talent signings across several categories including Family Gaming Team (FGTeeV), a big YouTube gaming channel with 15 million subscribers; teen Loren Gray, one of the most popular creators on Musical.

On April 18th, the Tribeca Film Festival will commence the 2018 edition of its annual showcase, and for the sixth year in a row, the festival's selection will include a number of nods to digital-native talent. N.O.W., which in previous years has featured web projects like High Maintenance and The Gay And Wondrous Life of Caleb Gallo, will return in 2018 with more work from ambitious young creators. A dozen serial and short-form programs will premiere at a screening on April 19, and six days later, an invite-only event will...

The latest episode of the hit ABC series saw his character, Dr. Andrew DeLuca, finally admit to Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) that he’s in love with Dr. Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington), and Gianniotti tells Et that his long-awaited confession to Jo is just episodes away.
“It kind of slipped out and it’s been on his mind for a long time,” said the 27-year-old actor, after crossing the finish line of the five-mile, obstacle-ridden race through mud. “With the whole traumatic experience of what happened with [Alex] Karev, Jo’s been at his side. They’ve spent a lot of time talking, hanging out and bonding, and he has crossed the line between friends and potentially lovers, but he’s closer...
