Impact Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling will co-produce a major live pro wrestling show on Thursday, March 30th, at the Globe Theater in Los Angeles with megastars from both promotions in-action and numerous first-ever dream matches confirmed.
The show, Multiverse United: Only The Strong Survive, will air live on pay-per-view on fite.tv, starting at 8 p.m. Pst.
Impact World Champion Josh Alexander steps into the ring at Multiverse United against Kushida, while “Speedball” Mike Bailey battles Will Ospreay in the co-main event that will be a nonstop fight for bragging rights. The Bailey-Ospreay battle is their fifth-ever one-on-one contest and the first since August 2022, with their first-ever back in 2015. “Will Ospreay is the best professional wrestler in the world, after me,” Bailey said. “So, this will be the best professional wrestling match of the year.”

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, this week features an Eddie Kingston main event… Hell yes. Though we have to sit through nine matches before that! We’ve got Ian Riccaboni, Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary once again, so let’s get into the review.
Match #1: The Bunny def. Blain Onyx
My Thoughts: The Bunny took control of this one for the get-go, only “letting” Blain Onyx get a few hits in so it didn’t look like she totally folded. But otherwise this was a complete and total squash.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Brandon Cutler def. Man Scout
My Thoughts: Another Brandon Cutler comedy match… What did you expect? Classic wrestling? He’s fighting Man Scout here folks! This was more of your typical Aew quasi-squash but the outcome was Never in doubt. At all. In the slightest.
My Score: 2 out...

Welcome to this review of Aew’s Full Gear, which looks to be yet another huge pay per view for All Elite Wrestling – with plenty of title matches, including both the women’s And men’s titles on the line. Plus, The Elite are making their return to the promotion after That altercation and investigation… Let’s see what went down!
Zero Hour: Match #1: Orange Cassidy, Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta), Rocky Romero & Danhausen def. The Factory The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Best Friends hit a shoulder tackle on Aaron Solo. Trent chopped away at Solo in the corner turnbuckles. Rocky Romero did the forever clotheslines on Lee Johnson and finished if off with a big uppercut. Qt Marshall jumped in and got bounced around by right hands from Chuck, Trent, Rocky, and Orange. Cole Karter attempted a frog splash but Trent lifted his knees, and Karter crashed down below.

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, this week features nine matches once again and a number of big-name stars rather than jobbers! We’ve got Ian Riccaboni and Paul Wight on commentary, so let’s get into the review…
Match #1: Abadon def. Amy Rose
My Thoughts: Amy Rose makes her Aew debut getting annihilated by Abadon. Hey, at least she got some offence – and remarkably a one-count – before the match was over! Squash-tastic action.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Roh Six-Man Tag Team Title Match – Dalton Castle and The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) def. The Trustbusters
My Thoughts: Wow. We get an Roh title match on Elevation. Surprising. What’s not surprising is how not into this match the crowd was – which really hurt proceedings Imho. Good to see Dalton Castle and The Boys in action but let’s not let the Trustbusters anywhere near those titles ever again,...

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. Once again we’ve got Paul Wight finally back on commentary this week where he is joined by Roh’s Ian Riccaboni. So let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Skye Blue def. Trish Adora
My Thoughts: Fan-favourite Skye Blue opens Elevation in a quasi-squash match against Trish Adora. Unfortunately both women didn’t quite gel and this one felt a lot more like the kind of “developmental” match Dark and Elevation are supposed to showcase. Which, if training wrestlers and giving them “TV time”, is what the show is about, is a good thing.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Brian Cage def. Tracy Williams
My Thoughts: Nice to see Brian Cage [finally] in another match on Aew programming. Interesting that, given he’s facing Wardlow for the title this week,...

Welcome to this week’s review of Impact Wrestling, which this week opens with a Before the Impact match that saw Steve Maclin defeat Crazzy Steve. Let’s get into the review…
Match #1: Karl Anderson def. Kenny King The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:
Just 24 hours before the high-stakes showdown between Honor No More and Bullet Club, Karl Anderson and Kenny King look to fire the first shot in singles competition! The members of both factions are banned from ringside for this match. King drapes the leg of Anderson across the rope to gain the early advantage. King targets the now-injured left leg as he begins to wear Anderson down. Anderson creates separation with a Dragon Screw leg whip, then fights back with a series of clotheslines. Anderson hits a single leg dropkick for two. Anderson counters the Royal Flush into the Gun Stun to win!

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, we’re back to Paul Wight and Mark Henry on commentary (with Excalibur thankfully joining them) but a bigger 9-match card this week… but still only running around 45 mins again? Let’s get right into the review and the action!
Match #1: Lee Moriarty def. Serpentico
My Thoughts: Nice to see Serpentico back in singles action and nice to Not hear too much from Luther in his corner. As I’ve said before, Serpentico is great as a singles competitor though he had some really stiff competition in Lee Moriarty, whose skill and Taiga style eventually got the better of his opponent.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Abadon def. Danni Bee
My Thoughts: Another squash match for Abadon, this time against a debuting Danni Bee. As I said last week, seeing Abadon obliterate her opponents in a solid squash is so satisfying!

Welcome to this week’s column of The Last Week In Wrestling, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have Mr. Rogers here with us. Mr. Rogers: Hello my television neighbor. I wanted to talk to you about violence. When people watch violence, that doesn’t make them violent. Violence is wanting to be violent and then choosing to be violent. When you watch wrestling, you are watching it because you want to watch wrestling. Watching wrestling doesn’t always have a meaning besides wanting to watch wrestling. Wrestling can be fun, but we should always remember that wrestling can hurt the people that do it, because it is violent. When wrestlers get hurt, that’s not your fault. However, you should always try to empathize with them when they are in pain. Mr. Robinson: Hello boys and girls! I’m in pain listening to this old-ass...

Welcome to this weeks sub-2 hour long Aew Dark: Elevation… I say that because Aew literally put “almost 2 hours of wrestling” in the title of the show on YouTube! Hey, at least if they do that we know what to expect upfront. Let’s get to it…
Match #1: Qt Marshall def. Robo
My Thoughts: Despite Paul Wight saying on commentary that this match featured a “valiant effort by Robo,” this was a squash. And a bad squash at that. This is the kind of wasted TV time that could easily be cut and make Elevation a trimmer, faster, Shorter show.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Abadon def. Leila Grey
My Thoughts: Yet another squash match. Abadon made short work of Leila Grey who only got in a couple of punches and a kick in the corner in the entire match! Otherwise Abadon threw Grey around like a ragdoll.

Welcome to this return of Major League Wrestling: Fusion, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel Mlw is back, baby! Boom! We’re jumping right in to the Opera Cup, which is not about singing, So Shut The F— Up! Amigo, let’s get to it.
Match #1: Richard Holliday vs. Tjp (w/ Bu Ku Dao) – Opera Cup Tournament Match (Opening Round) The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
“The Carribean Champion” hands his title over to the offcial whom he prompts to hoist it up in a moment of glamour (this is a total non-title match for those keeping track). Holliday holds court further by making an event of him holstering his Air Pods. The bell rings and we’re underway. The two men circle one another before a very brief lock-up and a reset. The second lock-up has Tjp getting sent to the canvas due to the strength of Holliday.

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the more from the Pure Title Tournament. Hey, let’s not waste any time.
Match #1: David Finlay def. Rocky Romero The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
This was the third time Finlay and Romero have faced each other in a tournament. The previous meetings took place in New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Best of the Super Juniors tournament in 2015 and 2016. The veteran Romero won both of those matches, but he knows he’ll be facing a different Finlay this time. No longer a young lion, Finlay has established himself as a championship caliber competitor. Finlay is coming off an impressive showing in the New Japan Cup USA tournament last month. The fourth-generation star defeated Chase Owens in the first round and Tama Tonga in the semifinals before falling to Kenta in the finals.

Welcome to this return of Ring Of Honor reviews, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the first two matches in the Pure Title Tournament, which has been resurrected by popular demand. We’ve got two big matches to get to, so let’s not waste any time.
Match #1: (Co-Main Event) Jay Lethal def. Dalton Castle – Block A First-Round Match The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
How’s this for a first-round matchup? Two former Roh World Champions in their prime squaring off against each other in a one-on-one singles match for just the fourth time in their storied careers. Lethal has won two of the three previous meetings, including their last encounter in January 2019, when he successfully defended the Roh World Title against Castle. Lethal, currently one-half of the Roh World Tag Team Champions with Jonathan Gresham, is the only former Pure Champion...

Welcome to the All In prediction column, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and this is a preview of what may be the biggest wrestling card of the year. I’d also like to thank CBS Sports for providing the card listing that we are working with here. I’m really excited for this one, so let’s get right to it!
Match #1: Moose, Jordynne Grace, Colt Cabana, Ethan Page, Rocky Romero, Brian Cage, Billy Gunn, Jimmy Jacobs, Marko Stunt, Brandon Cutler, Punishment Martinez and others – Over The Budget Battle Royal For A Ring Of Honor World Title Match Later On The Card
Appearing on the Zero Hour portion of the card that will air on Wgn, this match will be a fun spectacle. I think they’ll go with Punishment Martinez to win this match.
Match #2: The Briscoes vs. So-Cal Uncensored – Tag Team Match
