Once you’ve tasted Marcus Samuelsson’s cooking or watched Matt Damon pummel an enemy with his bare hands (on the big screen, of course), it’s hard to get excited about watching some up-and-comer try to pull off an imitation. And that was my worry going into Kelly Clarkson Night on American Idol.

Ryan Murphy has revealed to EW details about the next season of American Horror Story, including that it will be set in the past. One possibility has me excited, the other feels a little too… familiar. He also said that there won’t be a Coven spin-off series, as originally suggested.
Josh Bowman tells TV Guide that he’s hoping to leave Revenge. “I love working on the show, but I’m just being honest. My character has flip-flopped the most, and it’s been so hard for me to play,” he explains. I’d certainly miss looking at Bowman but it’s not like Daniel has had many interesting stories since Tyler was written out.
Leah Remini is joining the cast of The Exes in a recurring role as Stuart (David Alan Basche)’s divorced sister.

It's the finale of "Project Runway" Season 11. On last week's part one of the finale, Daniel Esquivel was eliminated, which left Michelle Lesniak Franklin, Patricia Michaels and Stanley Hudson to battle it out for the win.
So who takes home the $100,000, the Lexus Gs 350 and the fashion spread in Marie Claire?
Michelle Lesniak Franklin was crowned the winner of "Project Runway" Season 11, after all three designers showed their collections in the final runway show at Lincoln Center in front of the usual judges plus guest judge Michael Kors.
Michelle's final collection included some delightfully creative pieces. She had a "huntress urban woman" look to her collection and the judges particularly liked her bleeding-heart sweater.
What do you think, fans? Did the right designer win?...

Ideally, each season of a show brings a fresh perspective. But Lifetime's Season 11 of "Project Runway," which has its finale Thursday, April 25, genuinely was new.
For the first time, designers were divided into teams. Zac Posen replaced Michael Kors as a judge. And host Tim Gunn reveals tells Zap2it what he thought of all of it.
"This will be a first," Gunn says. "I have never commented on any of the designers' work." Gunn has always been a mentor, not a judge. After decades in the business, he certainly knows what works, and he agreed to critique some of the looks that will be in the season finale.
"Season 11 was very different," Gunn says. "And I don't say these words idly: This was my favorite season ever. I loved the team construct. I loved that each designer is responsible, in a manner of speaking, for more than their own work.

The season’s remaining designers hit the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC to showcase their new Fall/Winter 2013 designs – their final challenge in Season 11!
For the first time in the history of Project Runway, the contestants did not get to deliver their thank you speeches before their collections walked the runway! This means that the entire audience was left in the dark as to which designers actually made it to the finale — and who was associated with each look! Though atypical, this allowed for audience members to judge each collection critically, unbiased by the urge to root for their favorite designers. Six distinct collections were shown — get the scoop here!
Project Runway Season 11 Finale Show Secrets: Who’s In And Who’s Out?
One of the telltale marks of a great designer is to have a brand vision so distinct and cohesive that viewers could spot their look without the grand introduction.

Designer and former ‘Runway’ contestant Michael Costello talks us through the Season 11 premiere episode in his latest recap. The latest crop of designers learn that this entire season will focus on teamwork — which can only mean even more drama!
“You’re only as strong as your weakest link,” Tim Gunn says as he and Heidi Klum reveal that Season 11 of Project Runway is going to be a team competition. Even though there is no I in team, only one will come out as the winner of Project Runway. Let’s see if “team work really makes the dream work,” as was proposed in the episode. This should be interesting…
Does working in teams mean there will be less drama between designers? I’ll miss the old Project Runway but I’m so excited to see how designers work and grow with the input of a team this season.

I have to be honest here. I almost chose to entirely skip this season of Project Runway. Frankly, I was burned out on the show. And with All Stars blowing chunks, I think the franchise made a tactical mistake by not giving fans some breathing room before plunging in to a regular season. But plunge they did, and since I've always been, at heart, a lemming ... here I am.
This season is going to be a bit different, as I'm going to list the top 5 moments from each episode, and then posts the designs so you can have at them. Will this Team season work? I'm intrigued, but not entirely sure. We'll see!
1. Tim and Heidi Plead Their Case
Heidi: Teams!
Tim: This is my favorite season!
Heidi: Teams!
Tim: I've always thought that unless you can work with others, you don't have a shot in the fashion world. It's the most important thing.
