We are so excited for Sunday's premieres of The Celebrity Apprentice. We should know better than to get sucked in to misleading trailers that promise more drama than they deliver. But from what we can tell from a recent conference call interview with the show's host Donald Trump, music legend Meat Loaf and The Real Housewives of Atlanta's NeNe Leakes, this season's competitors pack a punch and are going to bring the best season ever.
The cast is a great one, although we expect nothing less from Mr. Trump and genius Executive Producer Mark Burnett — Gary Busey, David Cassidy, Jose Canseco, Hope Dworacyk, Richard Hatch, Latoya Jackson, Lil Jon, Star Jones, NeNe Leakes, Meat Loaf, Marlee Matlin, Mark McGrath, John Rich, Lisa Rinna, Niki Taylor and Dionne Warwick. And while we assumed Gary Busey and Latoya Jackson would be the ones to watch for...

Brandy Kuentzel has been crowned the winner of The Apprentice. The 30-year-old San Francisco native was announced as the champion at the end of tonight's finale after successfully organising a golf tournament and beating out fellow finalist Clint Robertson for the title. "Here I am with everything I had hoped to gain out of this entire experience and it's just... I can't even describe how amazing it is," she said after her victory. "I am the next Apprentice. I'm just so excited." This week's finale saw Brandy continuing to put together a VIP golf tournament featuring comedian Kathy Griffin while Clint organised a dinner gala with Liza Minnelli. Brandy was joined by Liza, Stephanie and Anand on her part of the challenge and Clint recruited Mahsa, Poppy and Steuart. As the episode began, Poppy and Mahsa continued to stress over the misspelling (more)...

Big business can be cutthroat, and no mogul plays harderthan Donald Trump. He’s actually become a TV icon based on the not so nicephrase, “You’re fired.” So we expected no sympathy when we learned that one ofthis season’s competitors on The Apprentice was caught cheating. But, asusual, the Donald surprised us.
Apprentice staffers discovered that Anand Vasudev textedfriends to try to drum up financial support during a challenge. So in episode nine,Mr. Trump sent him packing. In a recent conference call interview, he explainedthe decision, “It simply was against the rules. They knew that. He knew it. Andit was against the rules.”
Although the move came out of left field for competitors andviewers alike, the fact that Vasudev was given a second chance was even moreshocking. As is always the case during The Apprentice’s battle of the finaltwo competitors, several eliminated...

Hi Apprentice fans! We’re almost at the finish line for The Apprentice and I couldn’t be more fascinated by all the excitement on this week’s episode. With the two finalists being announced and former contestants returning, the game is the most cutthroat it has ever been — just the way we all like it on reality TV!
Opening Boardroom
In order to select who the finalists would be, my father had the three remaining contestants join him in the boardroom and tell him why they each felt they deserved to be the next Apprentice. This was not an enviable place for Brandy,...

The first of the two-part finale on "The Apprentice" immediately saw the firing of Liza Mucheru. The December 2 episode started right after Steuart Martens was fired, during which Donald Trump ordered the three remaining contestants to come back to the boardroom for a second elimination.
Based on personalities, Trump decided to let go of Liza because while she was "outstanding in every way" she lacked on the interpersonal skills that would make her suitable for the Trump empire. After the elimination, Liza said, "I really value Mr Trump's opinion and to hear that he didn't think I get along with people really hurt. It's hard to know that I got so close."
This left the finale to Brandy Kuentzel and Clint Robertson who each had to team up with some of the fired contestants in the final task. Brandy picked Liza, Stephanie Castagnier and Anand Vasudev while Robert got Mahsa Saeidi-Azcuy,...

Hi Apprentice Fans! I was not kidding last week when I told you that The Apprentice is getting more surprising with each new episode. This week had another Apprentice first – the episode began with a boardroom …and a firing.
An Apprentice Shocker (and Fire #9)
My father had the two teams assemble in the boardroom at the beginning of the show, as he announced “I’ve just been given some very disturbing news.” It had been brought to his attention that Anand had been text-messaging people during the pedi-cab challenge in Episode 6. Anand had been asking friends to bring in money...

Donald Trump fired candidate Anand Vasudev on The Apprentice 7 last night after Anand was confronted about violating the show's rules, lied about it, and then confessed he both lied and broke the rules. Unlike the surprise firings such as Trump's bizarre public shaming of Khloe Kardashian, this was both rational and amazing television. Speaking of Khloe, Trump demonstrated some incredible hypocrisy later: The episode's task was product placement for Kim Kardashian's perfume, and Trump...

Poppy Carlig has become the 11th candidate to be fired from The Apprentice. The 24-year-old recent college graduate was fired after she failed to adequately lead her Fortitude teammates to success in this week's Kim Kardashian perfume challenge. The episode began with the shock of the candidates called to the boardroom by Mr Trump, who made the announcement that Anand had been found soliciting money via text messages from outside people. Anand initially denied the allegations, forcing Mr Trump to read the messages aloud to the room. Mr Trump then questioned Anand as to why he lied about the incident, and Anand explained that he did not tell the truth because he wanted to stay in the competition. However, he was immediately fired and sent home, becoming the 10th candidate to leave the program. "I wasn't trying to be dishonest or cheat. It was just a bad judgment call," (more...

Hi Apprentice Fans! The Apprentice keeps getting more surprising with each new episode. This week I was unable to participate, but my brothers Don and Eric joined my father in re-configuring the teams and watching the new dynamics between players. Some fierce competition came out and I was so excited to see all of the action…
Distributing Some Great Advice
Larry Young, the CEO of Snapple met with last week’s winning Project Manager, Steuart. Since Steuart wants to go into the distribution business, it was an ideal opportunity for him and I think that he made the most of his time.

There's a bizarre and lengthy discussion in the boardroom of 'The Apprentice' (Thu., 10Pm Et on NBC) about one contestant's sexual orientation. It seems that a guy (with five children) can't say another guy is attractive without everyone, including The Donald, wondering if he's gay.
"David just had this ridiculous man-crush" on a model used in the challenge, explains Anand. "It was very odd." Trump asks David outright if he's gay. David says no. Trump clarifies, "You never know, and who cares, right, David? I know guys who were married for 20 years, they left with a guy."
But Trump doesn't change the subject, asking (jokingly, we think), "Are you sure you don't want to come out?" David says, "I'm not gay, dammit, the model was fantastic ... If you look at his picture, he's the man." Trump's son responds, "That sounds pretty gay." And that sounds so junior high.

David Johnson has become the ninth candidate to be fired from The Apprentice. The unemployed account manager was fired after he failed to lead his team to success during an advertising campaign task. The episode began with the candidates discussing Mahsa's exit after revealing the team's profits to Team Octane. Clint seemed agitated but said that he felt he had cleared his name by addressing Mahsa in the boardroom in front of Mr Trump. The group also bickered, with Anand attacking Stephanie and describing her as "classless" after accusing her of lying in order to save her team. Mr Trump met the teams to explain this week's task, which was to create a four-page ad for Donald J Trump's Signature line of shirts, ties and cufflinks. The candidates were informed that the challenge would be judged on creativity, brand integration and overall presentation. (more)...

Hi Apprentice Fans! It was great to be back in the boardroom this week – this time with my younger brother, Eric. Eric is an accomplished, strong businessman and philanthropist, and everyone at The Trump Organization values his opinions tremendously. I am sure that you felt the same after watching him this week!

Kelly Smith Beaty has become the seventh candidate to be fired from The Apprentice. The 30-year-old PR rep was eliminated after playing a major role in Team Fortitude's failure during the pedi-cab challenge. The teams were given the task of creating their own pedi-cab tours of New York City. The groups were required to train and be tested in order to secure a biking license and would also need to design and sell their planned excursion. Kelly immediately stepped up for Team Fortitude to act as project manager while Anand took on the role for Team Octane. Team Octane The men all began brainstorming about their approach and decided to concentrate on pre-sales of their Roman chariot-themed pedi-cab experience, which Clint suggested. Ivanka was impressed with the group's progress but admitted that she was concerned about David's lack of participation as he seemed (more)...

Wade Hanson and Gene Folks have become the fifth and sixth candidates to be fired from The Apprentice. The men were eliminated after playing a major role in Team Octane's failure to find success during the Rockport fashion show challenge. The teams were instructed to put on a fashion show for Rockport shoes for potential buyers of the brand's upcoming Spring 2011 collection. Wade immediately stepped up as project manager for the men while Stephanie took on the role for the women. Team Octane David and Gene volunteered to Mc the evening. Wade then warned David to take the task seriously, which he promised to do. However, Clint expressed concerns about David taking on such a massive role. David later became angry with Gene when the latter struggled to prepare in a timely manner. Steuart and Anand took on the role of meeting with the potential models and taking them (more...
