When Sara Benincasa first met Ben Kissel in 2010, she was smitten with him almost immediately. Tall and handsome with boyish features, a six-foot-seven-inch frame, and an aw-shucks Midwestern mien, Kissel was working as a stand-up comic in New York City, just like she was at the time; they both spent a lot of time at the Creek and the Cave, a now-defunct comedy club in Queens. She found him charming and funny, with a quick wit and a willingness to say anything to get a laugh, an edgelord sensibility that...

We’ll take “Scandals That Could’ve Been Avoided” for $1200. Mike Richards is already out as the new host of “Jeopardy!” amid backlash over his past offensive remarks and everybody’s got jokes — and, of course, more suggestions for his replacement.
Richards informed the show’s staff that he was stepping down in an email Friday, writing that, “It has become clear that moving forward as host would be too much of a distraction for our fans and not the right move for the show.”
The behind-the-scenes saga has already distracted fans, though, with one Twitter user wondering how “Jeopardy!” of all shows came to fill the drama void left by “Game of Thrones.”
Richards will remain as executive producer and the show will return to its short-term guest hosts until a permanent one is chosen.

A charity fundraiser that promised to have “American Gods” author Neil Gaiman read the Cheesecake Factory menu if it met its goal has done just that, surpassing $100,000 to benefit refugees. A video of a man spewing homophobic remarks and physically attacking a fellow traveler at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport in Texas went viral after it was posted on YouTube on Oct. 23.
Video Of Dallas Airport Brawl
The incident clearly began sometime before Andrew Kennedy, the man who recorded and uploaded the video, began filming. The video starts with the aggressor approaching the man in the pink shirt and swatting at the phone in his hand, appearing upset and not wanting to be filmed. The two exchange words, and it seems as if the man in pink informs the aggressor that there are cameras and a crowd watching. The man is not phased by this, and proceeds to flip off the crowd.
A man in a cowboy hat intervenes, and asks the man why he’s so upset, and that’s when the man begins to lose it. “Queers is what I’m upset about!
