Twice a month Joe Lipsett will dissect a new Amityville Horror film to explore how the “franchise” has evolved in increasingly ludicrous directions. This is “The Amityville IP.”
The single biggest recurring question that has arisen over the course of this editorial series is “what constitutes an Amityville film?” It’s the basic impetus to go through all of these films chronologically, regardless of quality or connective tissue to the original film or the books.

It’s also a world besieged by the undead, who have taken over the planet forcing Mia and a handful of survivors to flee Rathe in a cock-shaped spaceship after a violent last stand takes Mia’s father’s life and leaves Rathe at the mercy of zombie hordes. Fifteen years ago, a peaceful Christmas neighborhood was engulfed by fear when five-year-old Jamie Garrett was mysteriously taken from her bedroom never to be seen again. Now on Christmas break, Rachel Kimmel comes home from college to find her neighborhood struck again by a reign of terror. A violent killer is hiding behind a grisly Santa mask, leaving a bloody trail of slaughtered women and castrated men to the steps of the Garrett house. Rachel finds herself in a horrifying nightmare as she discovers the twisted secret behind the mask.
Maybe it was all the pre-release internet hype (which we were a part of), or maybe it’s because being a sucker for seasonal slashers I...

All Through the House is written and directed by Todd Nunes. The film stars Ashley Nunes, Jessica Cameron, Melynda Kiring, Natalie Montera, Lito Velasco, Jason Ray Schumacher, and Johanna Rae
Being asked to write a spoiler-free review is always tough, because a large part of my job as a critic is to let you all know if the movie I am reviewing is something you'll all want to see, and a good critic generally does this by describing the film, and letting the reader make up his or her mind. When I'm limited in what I can say about a film, it limits my ability to accurately describe it. I don't think I am giving away too many spoilers though when I say that All Through the House is a Christmas themed slasher about a killer dressed as Santa who kills women and cuts off their boyfriend's penises.
