Hot of the presses… Deadline reports that Warner Brothers has bought an original spec script titled The Rabbit, for Chris Tucker to star in.
Little info is available about the project, except the summation that it’s like think Midnight Run, the 1988 Robert De Niro/Charles Grodin action/comedy, with De Niro as a bounty hunter, and Grodin as his prisoner, on a rowdy road trip from New York to L.A., with another bounty hunter, the FBI, and the Mafia after in pursuit.
The film was both a critical and commercial success.
