It looks like "Snooki And JWoww" is getting a second season. The "Jersey Shore" spinoff's production company, 495 Productions, has sent a letter to Morristown, New Jersey officials requesting permission to film Season 2 in the Northern NJ town starting on August 9, Basking Ridge Patch reports.
Snooki is due to have her baby in September, and Patch reports that the letter sent to Morristown officials requests permission to film through October 14. So it stands to reason that Season 2 of "Snooki And Jwoww" will cover the late stages of her pregnancy, and run through her delivery and first few weeks of motherhood. The baby's birth could provide a jolt to the show's relatively weak ratings, which pale in comparison to the numbers "Jersey Shore" brings in.
Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty admitted to Patch that he's never seen "Jersey Shore" or "Snooki And JWoww," but seemed eager to welcome their shenanigans to Morristown. "We're a very happening town.

It's hard to hide reality. Which is why news of a second season for MTV's "Jersey Shore" spinoff "Snooki & Jwoww" is already breaking despite no formal announcement from MTV or the show's production company.
According to New Jersey's Asbury Park Press, 495 Productions has already applied for a permit to shoot portions of the show -- which stars "Shore" denizens Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "Jwoww" Farley -- in Morristown, N.J., between August and October.
Town Clerk Matthew Stechauner tells the paper that an application to begin filming on Aug. 10 is currently being reviewed. The pair would apparently not live in the town -- just sample its nightlife.
"We have had other production companies shoot in town without incident," says Morristown mayor Tim Dougherty. "I don't know much about the show, but I guess it has an interesting reputation."
That's one way to put it.
