Prince William and Princess Kate used the occasion of a Buckingham Palace garden party on Tuesday to thank some of the medical team who helped deliver Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The couple chatted with Professor Tiong Ghee Teoh, a consultant obstetrician and gynecologist, and anesthesiologist Dr. Johanna Bray, who were part of the 23-member Imperial College Healthcare team at London's St. Mary's Hospital in 2013 and 2015. Professor Teoh told reporters that they were part of the team on call for three months before the births in case extra help was needed. "I was back-up to Guy Thorpe-Beeston [who delivered the prince and princess]," he said.

While all of Great Britain celebrates the news of Princess Kate's second pregnancy, there's one place that's particularly over the moon - or "chuffed," in the local slang: her home village of Bucklebury. "It's absolutely fantastic. Brilliant," Martin Fidler, a Middleton family friend, tells People. "To have two babies so close together is perfect isn't it?" "All we can do is wish them the very, very best and all the happiness in the world," he adds. But with the Duchess suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness, it's no surprise that the locals are also slightly concerned...

When the Duchess of Cambridge has her second baby next spring, she will have two familiar faces by her side - doctors Guy Thorpe-Beeston and Alan Farthing. The two gynecologists, who were present for Prince George's birth at St. Mary's Hospital, were also the doctors chosen to stay by Kate's side Monday while William fulfilled his royal duties in Oxford before heading home to help. The palace has confirmed Kate is once again suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a condition that brings on severe sickness and nausea during pregnancy, and for which Kate was hospitalized for during her last pregnancy.

The best part of this solid documentary is the way it adds to the Psycho legacy itself by providing tons of info on the underrated sequels. All the Psycho films are at least interesting and the fact that Norman Bates has continued to interest pop culture an even more interesting one. Robert Galluzzo does a great job navigating the difficult territory of Anthony Perkins public and private identification with the Bates character, and scores major points by locating the Psycho influence in stuff like Adam Greens excellent film Spiral.
Galluzzo and I talked about the project and the long process of putting it together.
Robert Galluzzo: When you talk about Norman becoming an icon, you're talking about a human being as much as you are a monster. Everything that happens in any of the four Psycho films could actually happen, I think that's a really powerful component here. As popular...
