BBC bosses are starting to get worried after both Peter Andre and Lennox Lewis turned down the chance to take part in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing series.
Producers of the show have reportedly already been turned down by the Duchess Of York and Will Carling, but were hoping that newly divorced Peter Andre would jump on board. However, the ‘Behind Closed Doors’ singer will be touring later this year and promoting his new album ‘Revelation.’
A source told The Sun:
“Strictly really wanted Peter Andre. He’s got a massive fan base and would be a huge draw for the show.
“He’s also got a body to die for – think of the fun they could have had in wardrobe.”
Bosses also hoped to sign up boxing champion Lennox Lewis, after so many people tuned in to see Joe Calzaghe and his non dancing last year.
