Mordecai. The Wolf from Into the Woods. That little weird French-Canadian detective from Kevin Smith’s Tusk. Johnny Depp has made a career out of transformation, and he’s done it again in Funny or Die’s The Art of the Deal: The Movie. According to director Ron Howard, the 50-minute film adaptation of Trump’s 1987 memoir/business-advice book, directed by Drunk History’s Jeremy Konner and written by @midnight’s Joe Randazzo, was found at a yard sale outside Phoenix. Then again, Ron Howard is a notorious liar. Depp stars alongside Alfred Molina, Patton Oswalt, Henry Winkler, and Kristen Schaal, with Michaela Watkins as Ivana Trump. You can watch the entire film here to see Depp’s miraculous mutation, and you can be goddamn sure when Donald Trump wins the presidency, his first point of order will be getting Johnny Depp an Oscar, which will then be made out of pure brass.

George Clooney, Colin Hanks, Helen Mirren and more A-list celebrities are going to bat for French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo after terror attacks on their headquarters left 10 journalists dead.
"We both wanted to be in solidarity with them," Clooney told Et at the Golden Globes, referring to himself and wife Amal.
News: Margaret Cho Responds to Critics of Her 'Racist' Golden Globes Bit
"Je Suis Charlie seems like an absolute no-brainer," Hanks told Et, after showing his support via Instagram post.
"The pen is mightier than the sword and I think it's a wonderful symbol of free speech," Mirren said, wearing a pen pinned to her dress.
"That's the insanity of the world, isn't it?" Rosamund Pike told Et. "The extremities of life -- it all hurdles at us. That's why we feel privileged and we have to enjoy every moment of it."
The surviving staff members of Charlie Hebdo held an emotional press conference in which...

Everyone's favorite heinously addictive podcast, Serial, drew to a close Thursday, and boy are people freaking out. Some of the Internet's most vocal and dedicated fans of the podcast exist at the subReddit r/serialpodcast, and consequently, some of the best memes concerning the addictive series have emerged from this site. One of the better jokes referenced another favorite of obsessive Redditors: True Detective. Another Redditor's picture was simply titled, "I'm ready." This classic meme provided the perfect reaction when fans learned that host Sarah Koenig was asking for donations to fund the second season of the show. For Joe Randazzo,...

It would be pointless – not to mention foolish – to judge Caesar And Otto’s Deadly Xmas by the same standards as other films. This is chiefly because if we did we’d have to face up to the fact that this Christmas-themed horror/campfest doesn’t even deserve in the same VHS bargain bins as the films it clumsily imitates. That said, if the only movies people ever enjoyed were the good ones then…well, Netflix wouldn’t exist, for one thing.
With that in mind, I decided to view Caesar And Otto in the spirit in which I hope and pray it was intended: with tongue firmly embedded in cheek. It’s a good thing I did so immediately, as an early scene sees the recent recipient of...

Indie horror's favorite duo, Caesar and Otto, are back, and now that they've tackled Summer Camp and Christmas, they're turning their attention to Halloween!
From the Press Release
Following Wild Eye Releasing's successful release of Caesar and Otto's Deadly Xmas for the 2013 Christmas season, the distributor is once again teaming with the titular half brothers as they take on the supernatural during the spookiest time of the year in Caesar and Otto's Paranormal Halloween.
Many of the cast and crew behind Deadly Xmas will be returning for this new installment as well. Dave Campfield, whom Josh Pasnak of Video Graveyard hails as "one of the more impressive talents to come out of the indie scene in a while," returns to direct and star (as Caesar), and he will write the screenplay from a story he co-wrote with Joe Randazzo (returning from Deadly Xmas and fresh off his Golden Palm nomination...

"We're not going to explain a lot," former Features Editor of "The Onion" Joe Garden told me about Thing X, the parody website created by he and fellow former "Onion" employees for Adult Swim. And it's a good thing, too, because perhaps the best part of this new venture is how ominously baffling it is.
This summer, Adult Swim seized an opportunity to band a free-floating group of newly unemployed satirists together to form a website, and according to Garden, they didn't do too much explaining either.
"They have not told us what they want at all. They said, 'Make a website.'" Garden said of Thing X's parent company. "The prospect of breaking up 'The Onion' was pretty depressing for everybody, but since the end of June we've had the opportunity to expand and do something we normally wouldn't have done. We have the same freedom that we did...

Did you miss me? Because I brought presents, if I can just find time to prepare them for you guys. I have about 800 pictures, interviews with Travis Wall and Nick Lazzarini (they're huggers!), Alec Mapa, Bruce Vilanch and Dixie Longate. I have stories galore, from the over-the-top dance parties to just how filthy Idina Menzel's mouth is when she's not singing. I do want to thank Don and Rich at Atlantis Events for having me and Andrew Oldershaw of Fifteen Minutes for facilitating everything. That will all come later in the week, so let's get to our Meme. I hope you're ready for Meme Classic after all the tasty new writers you had last week!

After launching two Onion-branded cable series this year, the satiric news organization is setting its sights on broadcast next. The Onion, best known for its fake-news newspaper and Web site, has signed a one-year first-look development deal with CBS Television Studios. Under the pact, The Onion’s creative team will develop ideas for non-Onion-branded broadcast comedy series as well as online series for CBS Interactive's digital properties. “We’re looking forward to the creative challenge and, in fact, we’ve already come up with several exciting ideas, including 3 and a Half Men, 12 Men and Three-Quarters, and 72.683 Women,” said Joe Randazzo, Editor of The Onion. “This new relationship with CBS will hopefully allow us to take fraction-based comedy to new heights.” Added The Onion's general manager Mitch Semel. “Also, it’s nice to be able to check off ‘Phase 4’ in our seven-part plan to take over the world by 2014. ... Here’s...
