It's been nearly a year since Robert Buchel passed away, and his fiancée, Kathryn Lemanski, is still reeling. The former My 600-lb Life star died of a heart attack on Nov. 15, 2017, and since then, Kathryn says she's been "struggling." "I'm dealing," Kathryn revealed in an interview with Starcasm. "I've had health issues, including heart surgery, which I will have again in December." She added that she's been "still struggling bills-wise." The former reality star is drowning in medical and funeral bills, and she's also trying to pay back personal loans from her and Robert's parents. After her friend created a GoFundMe to help relieve some of this debt, fans feared it was a scam, leaving Kathryn to take to social media to explain that the fundraiser was, in fact, legit. "Hey everyone. Just to clarify about the GoFundMe in Rob's name: It Is Legit," she wrote on Facebook back in March.

You go, girl! My 600-lb Life on TLC has documented some of the most dramatic weight loss transformations we’ve ever seen. And mother-of-two Nicole Lewis is one of them. Being raised by drug-addicted parents, Nicole's only comfort growing up was food, which led her, at just 23 years old, to tip the scales at over 700 pounds. "Even as a toddler, I remember food was what made me happy," she said on her episode of the show. "When I was little, me and my mom never really got along because she had a really bad temper and would explode on me for things that I just didn't understand. And when that happened, I would always run to the garage, because my dad would be out there working on something. So I would just sit with him, and he would give me a snack. And that was safety." When Nicole was at her heaviest,...

If you've watched an episode of My 600-lb Life, you're probably very acquainted with those shower scenes that typically start off each episode. In order to capture the bleak reality of being someone who's 600+ pounds, the show gives an unedited view of what it's like to wake up, take a shower, and get dressed. The cameras follow each participant into the bathroom as viewers get an up close and personal view of what the process is like. For some who are too large to fit into a shower stall, they have to settle for sponge baths given by loved ones and family members. Although the show is being honest by depicting extreme obesity in its rawest forms, some fans think the scenes are a little degrading. "I would be cool with not seeing the shower scenes," a fan on Facebook commented. "I wish they would get rid of them," another fan wrote on Twitter.
