Bandai Namco Filmworks (formerly known as Sunrise) held an industry panel on Friday night of Sakura-con 2024 and announced that Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom will screen across 800 North American theaters in cooperation with Fathom Events later this Spring. Cast members from the film were present during the announcement, which also featured the official six-minute preview of the film underlining Bandai Namco's international promotional push for the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed anniversary festivities that began with the late January release of the feature film in Japan. Bandai Namco Filmworks has officially announced premiere dates for the highly anticipated Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom anime film in the United States. The premiere will be held in in two major cities, Los Angeles and New York City, both scheduled to take place on March 31, 2024.
The Los Angeles premiere will be held at the Regal L.A. Live theater and will be a star-studded affair featuring special guest appearances by the Japanese voice actors of Kira Yamato (Soichiro Hoshi) and Lacus Clyne (Rie Tanaka).
