Big Brother 24 runner-up Monte Taylor was pretty shocked by the outcome on finale night.
After winning the final Head of Household Competition, Monte thought that he was about to win the 750,000 when he chose to send Matthew Turner to the BB24 jury.
Unfortunately for Monte, it was Turner who ended up being the only person to vote for him to be the Big Brother 24 winner.
When Julie Chen Moonves read off the votes, it was Taylor Hale who won Big Brother 24. The 8-1 vote total made it seem like a really one-sided season of the show.
Later, Taylor was also named America’s Favorite Houseguest, winning a close vote against two other fan-favorites from the season.
“I had no doubt in my mind that I would be coming out on top after the vote,” Monte told Entertainment Weekly after the season finale aired.

Despite a last-ditch effort to save herself this week, Brittany Hoopes was evicted on Thursday night’s live episode of “Big Brother.” The 32-year old hypnotherapist from Austin, Texas was sent to the jury house by Monte Taylor, who won this week’s Veto contest and the sole power to evict. Monte decided Matthew “Turner” Turner was better for his game heading into Sunday’s finale along with Taylor Hale.
“If I’m being honest, it makes most sense for his game,” Brittany told host Julie Chen Moonves during her exit interview. “[Monte] is closer with Turner. I know I would have crushed him in those comps at the end. I feel confident about that. He’s right. His arguments were logical. It just wasn’t in my favor.”

Following the eviction of Alyssa Snider on “Big Brother 24,” only four players remained in the running to win the 750,000 grand prize: Taylor Hale, Brittany Hoopes, Monte Taylor and Matthew “Turner” Turner. Taylor proved her worth by winning the Head of Household competition centered around Julie Chen Moonves‘ wardrobe, which secured her spot in the Top 3. But remember, no matter who she nominated for eviction, this week would all come down to the Veto winner, as that person had the power to determine which two houseguests would be sitting on the block come eviction night. Despite a solid campaign to save herself this week, Alyssa Snider was evicted from the “Big Brother” house on Thursday’s episode. The 24-year old from Siesta Key, Florida managed to gain a vote from her former nemesis Brittany Hoopes, but lose the vote of her house Bff, Matthew “Turner” Turner. That left Head of Household Monte Taylor as the tie-breaker and he chose to send Alyssa to the jury house and keep his new snuggle buddy Taylor Hale by his side.

Heading into this week’s Power of Veto episode of “Big Brother 24,” Monte Taylor had just won his second Head of Household competition of the summer. The Delaware personal trainer nominated Brittany Hoopes and Alyssa Snider for eviction, though he also entertained Taylor Hale‘s pitch of her winning the Veto and using it to force Monte to backdoor Matthew “Turner” Turner. So did the Veto end up getting used, and if so, was it Brittany or Alyssa who came off the block?

The mightiest comp beast of all time couldn’t save himself when it mattered most on Thursday’s double eviction episode of “Big Brother.” Michael Bruner stormed out of the house without saying goodbye after being voted out 3-0 over his Bff Brittany Hoopes. Alyssa Snider, Monte Taylor and Taylor Hale all chose to send the front-runner packing. They, along with Head of Household Matthew “Turner” Turner, just couldn’t see themselves winning against the 28-year old attorney in the final.

It was an unceremonious exit for Terrance Higgins when he became the first houseguest sent packing on Thursday night’s live double eviction episode of “Big Brother.” The 47-year old bus operator from Chicago stormed out of the house after being unanimously evicted by a vote of 4-0 over Alyssa Snider. The Head of Household responsible for his dismissal was Michael Bruner.
“That was an homage to Daniel [Durston],” Terrance told host Julie Chen Moonves during his exit interview when asked about his quick exit. Daniel memorably (or not?) left in an uproar without saying goodbye way back on Day 37. But Terrance admits he was upset as well. “That definitely did play a role,” he explained. “You had the [opportunity] to do something that you just didn’t do. You knew that Alyssa’s votes, to me, look stacked in jury right now. And you have more of a fight to get Michael out of the house.

Heading into the ninth eviction episode of “Big Brother 24,” Alyssa Snider and Terrance Higgins sat on the block under Michael Bruner’s third Head of Household reign. The comp beast also won a record-breaking sixth Veto of the season, opting not to use it in hopes his target Terrance would soon join the jury.
Host Julie Chen Moonves surprised the houseguests (sort of) by letting them know tonight is a double eviction episode. Matt Turner had to watch while Michael Bruner, Brittany Hoopes, Taylor Hale, Monte Taylor, Terrance Higgins, and Alyssa Snider went at it on the puzzles.

Kyle Capener was not surprised by his eviction on Thursday’s episode of “Big Brother.” The 29-year old from Utah had an emotional week after Michael Bruner and Brittany Hoopes exposed comments he had made weeks prior that seemed to be rooted in implicit bias. Whether one agrees with the tactics or timing of this revelation, it resulted in some pretty heartfelt conversations, particularly between Kyle and the Black houseguests remaining. Still, Kyle all but conceded and was unanimously evicted by a vote of 5-0 under the Hoh reign of Matthew “Turner” Turner.

Big Brother 24 spoilers about who is going to become the fourth member of the BB24 jury became noticeable on the live feeds.
Matt Turner won the Week 8 Head of Household Competition, and his final nominees for the week were Kyle Capener and Taylor Hale.
Michael Bruner was Turner’s primary target, but Michael won another Power of Veto. He then used the Pov to save Brittany Hoopes from the block.
At the Veto Meeting, Turner put Kyle up on the block as the replacement nominee, but it seems like he would still prefer Taylor to be the one heading to the jury house next.
With just eight people left in the game, it means five voters will determine whether it is Taylor or Kyle joining Jasmine Davis, Indy Santos, and Joseph Abdin in the jury house.

“I’m not going to say that I’m completely shocked,” Jasmine admitted during her exit interview with host Julie Chen Moonves. “When Monte came off the block when Michael was Hoh before I figured something else was going on. The Big Brother live feeds returned for the outside group (Dyre Fest), leading to a lot of revelations over the past few days.
Ahead of the Double Eviction episode of Big Brother 24, many important conversations have taken place that will impact the game moving forward.
Inside the house, Jasmine Davis was told she is getting evicted. Jasmine will join Indy Santos in the BB24 jury house very soon.
Jasmine did have an interesting request of Michael Bruner, Brittany Hoopes, and Taylor Hale. She asked them to make sure that Matt Turner does not end up as the Big Brother 24 winner.
The comments from Jasmine about Turner are sure to be part of another show segment where the producers show Turner reacting to the words or actions from Jasmine.

The Double Eviction has arrived for Big Brother 24, with the houseguests ready to vote out two people on Thursday night (August 25).
The Split House festival twist changed the game a lot, and it has also paved the road for the first member of The Leftovers to be evicted this summer.
The Big Brother live feeds could also be very interesting when the people living on the inside learn that Kyle Capener has outed The Leftovers alliance to Terrance Higgins and Alyssa Snider.
When host Julie Chen Moonves welcomes the audience to the new episode, she is also going to be letting the group in the backyard know that they get to move back inside the house.

Michael Bruner became a Week 7 Head of Household during a twist on BB24. Pic credit: CBS
Big Brother 24 spoilers from BroChella spell doom for one of the houseguests in Week 7.
BroChella is the name of the game that the five people residing in the Big Brother house are playing during the latest twist. The other five people are living in the backyard and playing a different game.
Michael Bruner became the Head of Household for BroChella after winning a challenge against the rest of the final 10 BB24 cast members.
As the winner, Michael got to live inside of the Big Brother house, and he also got to pick four people to join him there. He likely had an intense internal monologue going on about what to do, and we will probably see him speak about it in Diary Room sessions during upcoming episodes.

Big Brother 24 spoilers from Dyre Fest have presented the live feeds with a lot of excitement.
Following the eviction of Indy Santos, the house got split into two groups, with Terrance Higgins taking over Dyre Fest.
Terrance won Head of Household at the perfect time for his own game, as he might have become a target for eviction if he didn’t secure his own safety.
With the house split, the two HOHs (Terrance and Michael Bruner) took turns picking players to be in their groups. Terrance selected Joseph Abdin, Matt Turner, Kyle Capener, and Alyssa Snider.
This group is taking part in Dyre Fest, which revolves around them all living in the backyard for a week. It’s not exactly a comfortable setting, but at least they are fed and they get paid a stipend...

Indy Santos finished in 11th place on Big Brother 24. Pic credit: CBS
Indy Santos was evicted from the Big Brother 24 house and she has a lot to say about her experience on the show this summer.
It was during the August 18 episode of the show where Indy found herself on the block next to Terrance Higgins. In a very one-sided vote, Indy was sent to her meeting with Julie Chen Moonves.
Following her eviction, Indy has been doing a lot of interviews, many of which have asked her questions about Taylor Hale. It seems pretty clear that Indy doesn’t think repeatedly calling Taylor derogatory names behind her back was a big deal.
On many different occasions, Indy was seen calling Taylor a “b*tch” on the live feeds. It was a term that Indy used to talk down about Taylor, even while Indy claims that she was “defending” Taylor all summer.

Indy Santos became the first juror of “Big Brother 24” after getting evicted 7-1 on Thursday following a roller coaster week. She wasn’t even Taylor‘s initial target and thought she had the votes all week until Brittany told her otherwise on Wednesday, leading to a convoluted ploy by Brittany and Joseph on Thursday to out Indy’s alliances (Girls Girls and Five Swatters) to justify the “flip.” The corporate flight attendant blamed her eviction on her fellow Five Swatter Kyle for not using the Veto on her. But that was before she saw her goodbye message from Michael, who pulled a page out of the Josh Martinez playbook and exposed The Leftovers, causing Indy’s jaw to literally drop.
What does she think about that alliance? And how does she feel about Brittany’s subterfuge? Find out below.

In a rare move for the Season 24 “Big Brother” house guests, there was no back door eviction this week, but somehow the week was still full of surprises and a strategic player was still sent packing during Thursday night’s episode.
Indy Santos was evicted in a 7-1 vote after being placed on the block by Head of Household Taylor Hale. The vote came as a bit of a shock to Santos, as she realized that several of the house guests she’d been closest to sent her home, including Alyssa Snider and Jasmine Davis.
It’s been a 180-degree shift for Hale, who started her “Big Brother” journey as a major target in the house. Now she’s part of a seven-person alliance called The Leftovers that has been running show for the last several weeks.

Kyle Capener did not use the Power of Veto, which meant that Terrance Higgins and Indy Santos remained on the block. Before getting to the live vote and eviction, the punishments from the Veto Competition were shown.

Heading into the sixth eviction episode of “Big Brother 24,” Veto winner Kyle Capener had to decide if he wanted to use his power to pull Indy Santos or Terrance Higgins off the block. Keeping nominations the same would ensure the safety of his showmance partner Alyssa Snider. Reigning Head of Household Taylor Hale was feeling bitter about Alyssa stealing her trip to London during the Veto comp and now had reason to target Kyle’s lover. So, did Kyle use the Veto? And who ended up speaking with Julie Chen Moonves at the end of the evening?

Big Brother 24 cast member Michael Bruner has his sights on making it all the way to the end, and he has some plans in place to make sure that he gets to see the confetti drop on finale night.
Recently, Michael took the time to speak to the cameras on the Big Brother live feeds, revealing the order that he wants his fellow houseguests to get evicted this summer.
Michael continues to remain very loyal to The Leftovers alliance, even though there were a few moments when he could have gone his own way. A big chance was when he was Head of Household, but he felt that Daniel Durston was a huge threat who had to be dealt with right away.
Following the eviction of Daniel, Michael wanted to see Jasmine Davis evicted next.

Big Brother 24 spoilers from the live feeds have revealed what happened during the Veto Competition today.
It is Week 6 for the BB24 cast, and a new Head of Household has been trying to make some big moves in the game.
Taylor Hale won the late-night Endurance Challenge right after Daniel Durston got evicted. This allowed Taylor some safety for the week, and she also got to enjoy some time without Daniel bad-mouthing her.
Outside of the house, Daniel was blaming other houseguests for his behavior toward Taylor, something that Kat Dunn wasn’t going to stand for when she interviewed him.
On Friday, Taylor nominated Terrance Higgins and Indy Santos for eviction. Taylor told her alliances that it is Terrance who she wants out this week, so he was the primary target.
Saturday afternoon, six people played in the latest Veto Competition.

As for the remaining members of the BB24 cast, they played in an Endurance Challenge called The Wall. The competition didn’t last very long, but it will be featured on the August 14 episode of the show.
Taylor Hale emerged as the endurance winner, marking the first time that she has won a challenge this summer.
Big Brother 24 spoilers now include the Week 6 nominations, which were just revealed by the new Head of Household.
Daniel Durston got sent home on Thursday night, bringing his time in the game to an end, but the rest of the houseguests had to compete in an important Hoh Competition that same night.
Speaking of Daniel, he says that he got a “villain edit” from Big Brother producers and he continued to push stories that weren’t true in several of his post-show interviews.

Big Brother 24 spoilers from Friday include the new Head of Household setting in motion the plans for the week.
On Thursday evening (August 11), Daniel Durston was evicted from the Big Brother house. The self-professed superfan claimed that he was teaching people how to play the game, but he failed to even make it to the BB24 jury.
Once Daniel was gone from the game, it was time to get down to business, and the remaining houseguests took part in a big Endurance Challenge in the backyard.
Unfortunately for the live feed viewers and possibly the producers looking to garner a lot of television footage from it, the BB24 cast didn’t last very long in The Wall.
After less than an hour of competing, Taylor Hale won the challenge to become the new Hoh. This is...

After a fiery speech to his fellow houseguests, Daniel Durston was evicted on Thursday’s live episode of “Big Brother.” He was nominated alongside his “Festie Bestie,” Kyle Capener, after they replaced Joseph Abdin, Monte Taylor and Terrance Higgins on the block. The 35-year old from Las Vegas was sent packing in a 8-1 vote (Terrance tossed him a bone). In return, Daniel hugged his friend goodbye and whispered something in his ear. Head of Household Michael Bruner can now add the slaying of Daniel to his resume, which is building up quickly after five early comp wins.
“You bolted, and the only person you hugged was Terrance,” host Julie Chen Moonves said to Daniel as he walked out the door. “What did you whisper to him?” Daniel responded, “I whispered, ‘I left a gift underneath your pillow.'” But it wasn’t one of significance, just some hair wax...

The Wall arrived on Big Brother 24 to begin Week 6. Pic credit: CBS
Big Brother 24 got to visit The Wall on Thursday night, presenting the houseguests with an Endurance Challenge to determine the new Head of Household.
Michael Bruner had to sit this one out after winning the Hoh Competition last week, which puts him in a difficult spot as he has to hope that his alliances hold up for another week.
Earlier in the night, it was Daniel Durston who got sent home on Big Brother, making him the fifth person to get eliminated this summer. Now, he has to watch the rest of the season play out online.
Before host Julie Chen Moonves said goodbye to the television audience, she got the new Hoh Competition started in the backyard.
Much like many other competitions in the past that have been called The Wall, the point of this challenge was...

The Big Brother 24 cast sent another houseguest home on Thursday night (August 11), leaving just 11 people competing for the 750,000 prize this summer.
Michael Bruner was the Head of Household during the week, giving him the power to set a target and help determine who would be the final houseguest to get sent home before the jury stage.
The episode also marked the end of the Besties twist on the BB24 cast, bringing an end to the duos and trios that had been competing for the past few weeks.
Now, everyone is on their own, and The Wall has arrived in the backyard. The winner of this intense Endurance Challenge will take over the house and get to set a path going forward.

Blindsides are the story of the first four weeks of “Big Brother” Season 24. In week one, the audience was blindsided by the surprise self-eviction of Paloma Aguilar and then in the following three weeks Joe Pucciarelli, Ameerah Jones and Nicole Layog were blindsided by their housemates in votes to evict them. In that time, a rare all-female alliance (called the Girl’s Girls) fell apart and a now dominating Leftovers alliance rose to power. The five players not in that alliance are on the outside looking in with very little sway in the game, and then there’s one that we think is inevitably the left over of The Leftovers. Below is our “Big Brother 24” week 5 power rankings of the Bottom 6 Least powerful players in the game currently. What do you think of our choices?

Nicole Layog was evicted on Thursday’s live episode of “Big Brother” after she and her Festie Bestie, Taylor Hale, replaced Alyssa Snider and Indy Santos on the block. The 41-year old from Fort Lauderdale was sent packing in a 9-1 landslide despite feeling safe for most of the week. Head of Household Monte Taylor will take credit for this power move, but it was really Nicole’s closest ally, Daniel Durston, who was responsible. His ignorance combined with arrogance caused him to use the Power of Veto on Alyssa and Indy so he could throw his best friend on the block in an attempt to get rid of her “ever so threatening” partner, Taylor. Fail.
Prior to Nicole’s eviction, Taylor gave a speech targeting the chef that quoted a Rihanna song, stating, “You look so dumb right now.” “I thought it was amazing and comical,” Nicole told host...

It was another contentious week in the “Big Brother” house as the Season 24 contestants dealt with the aftermath of last week’s surprise back door eviction, and it doesn’t appear that the power shots are slowing down any time soon.
Another major threat was sent home Thursday when the house guests eliminated Nicole Layog. It marked the second week in a row that The Leftovers alliance made a big move to take them all one step closer to the finale.
After sending Ameerah Jones packing last week, the alliance — which includes Monte Taylor, Kyle Capener, Taylor Hale, Michael Bruner, Brittany Hoopes, Matthew Turner, and Joseph Abdin — struggled to decide on a course of action. When Taylor won the Head of Household competition, he decided it best to put festie besties Alyssa Snider and Indy Santos on the block.
