Just yesterday, we reported that Irrfan Khan decided to make an exit from Vashu Bhagnani's film Welcome To Karachi at the last moment, despite the fact that the film was launched with much fanfare recently. And now it seems that Jackky Bhagnani has come to rescue for his father's production. Vashu Bhagnani made no qualms in expressing his disappointment when Irrfan Khan left the team of Welcome To Karachi stranded in London after he refused to fly to UK to complete the shoot schedule citing date issues. Vashu further even had mentioned that it will be too difficult for him to find a new actor who could fill in for Irrfan Khan at the last moment and the producer was also miffed about the losses he will be incurring if the team had to wait to complete the schedule in London. However, Jackky Bhagnani who was last seen in Youngistaan,...

This week’s Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa featured the contestants dancing on remixed music that was created especially by Music Directors Sachin-Jigar. Saturday’s show opened with the contestants dancing on the song ‘Dil Garden Garden’ from Kya Super Kool Hai Hum. Music Directors Sachin-Jigar, were warmly welcomed on the show.
Hosts Ranvir and Manish then realised that all the female contestants were not seated in the contestant area. The audience was then shown, that backstage, all the ladies were following Palak’s brother, Kiku Sharda! Kiku had come to replace Palak on the show and he had impressed all the ladies already! Naturally, hosts Ranvir and Manish were disappointed with this development!
It was then time to get back to business, and see who would be in this week’s face-off. The face-off was determined by last week’s votes (there was no elimination last week) and scores.

We don't cover Bollywood movies very often at 24Fps but that's probably because Bollywood zombie comedies don't come around very often, so it's easy to see why our heads may have been turned. Go Goa Gone is a 2013 film directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. It was a commercial success back home, despite mixed reviews. That said, Bollywood movie fans probably aren't as familiar with the zom-com sub-genre as we are. The first trailer attracted more than 1 million views on YouTube in just 3 days, and was given an 'A' Certificate for its violence, gore content and drug references. Which suggests Go Goa Gone is very much up our street. Judge for yourself when the film is released in the U.K. on March 31, 2014. Synopsis: Bollywood zombie comedy starring Saif Ali Khan. Three friends - Hardik (Kunal Khemu), Luv (Vir Das) and Bunny (Anand Tiwari) - travel to Goa where...

Film: "Shortcut Romeo"; Cast: Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ameesha Patel and Puja Gupta; Director: Susi Ganesh; Rating; *** - cooly crafted cat-and-mouse game.
There are two ways of doing a full-on masala film. You either turn it on its head and poke fun at ridiculous cinematic conventions. Or you treat the stereotypical characters and sacred cows of our cinema with full seriousness.
"Shortcut Romeo" takes the midway route. It seems so full of the old-world formulistic flavour and the stench of the familiar that parts of the pulsating aggressive storytelling actually feel like a spoof.
So, we have the film's unfaithful wife.

The phenomenon is all too real. Rich wives pick up toy boys to rid themselves of loneliness, caused by absentee workaholic husbands. More often than not, they fall prey to young men who either blackmail them into parting with their money or into leaving their husbands. In Shortcut Romeo, director Susi Ganesh tells us one such story.
After reading about such cases, Susi Ganesh felt that for the country’s youth, materialistic achievement is the ultimate dream.
Pursuing that dream is his film’s hero, played by Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is shown blackmailing a lonely, rich wife played by Ameesha Patel. He doesn’t demand a lump sum amount, but rather wants her to support his rich lifestyle for a lifetime. Puja Gupta plays his ‘real’ girlfriend.
Says he, “Even our epics, like the Ramayana and Mahabharata, convey a strong message to those eyeing another’s wife and wealth.

To create the music of the romantic thriller, the director brought in Himesh Reshammiya. The music director created a cool set of songs with lots of new flavored notes, beats and vocals to back up the movie and from what we have seen so far the rapid, running pace of the film.
