We all have memories that remain in our minds. Try as we might to forget these memories, they will still linger. On tonight’s episode of Sleepy Hollow, Ichabod faces his memories head on as he stands trial for Abbie’s death. John Noble returns as Henry Parish/Jeremy Crane. The hour began right where the last episode left off. The Venom-esque goo attacks Ichabod and then transforms into a spider web, wrapping itself around Ichabod. The latter is then transported to a cave in Maryland where he is held captive by a spider demon. This reminds me of the story about the

Sleepy Hollow goes into its fourth season after some major changes that essentially constitute a soft reboot, but though nearly the entire cast has been revamped and the premise somewhat adjusted, a familiar face will be returning to the Fox show: John Noble, who played Henry Parrish/Jeremy Crane/The Horseman of War in the first and second seasons. No details on how Henry Parrish’s return is possible – the character was killed off at the end of season 2 – but Noble was…...

First, let's make one thing clear: I love Sleepy Hollow. I love its bonkers kitchen-sink sensibility, and its genuinely scary, tactile, non-computer-generated monsters, and its strong, diverse ensemble, and, most importantly, its delightfully daffy sense of humor. That being said... Sleepy shocked everyone when it debuted to huge ratings last year, attracting nearly 14 million viewers and becoming the first new show to be renewed for a second season. Yet that second season—which promised to be bigger, better, and in every way more epic than the first—has struggled to replicate season 1's success. Ratings are down across the board...

The Horseman of War aka Jeremy Crane aka Henry Parish…has been making trouble for “Sleepy Hollow.” In order to help Moloch usher in a new era ruled by Hell itself, Parish has gone out of his face to overturn the plans of his estranged parents and their associates. Under his day job as a lawyer, he has sowed dissent by commandeering the soul of Captain Irving (Orlando Jones). In that vein, Fox has released this spot-on rendition of a local commercial for a small town attorney. But wait! What’s that? That list of grievances of which Parish & Cipher (I see what you did there, Henry) can assist with? It has quite a few references to things that have already happened. And perhaps hint as to things yet to come. Image Credit: Fox But one thing near the bottom of the list should really perk up the ears of any fan of the show.

Wilmington, Nc. There was a point a few years back when I seemed to talk with John Noble every few weeks about the universe-bending twists and turns of Fox's "Fringe." We talked on the drama's Vancouver set. We talked at Fox summer press days on multiple occasions. We talked via satellite. We talked at Comic-Con. Because of the constantly evolving nature of "Fringe" and Walter Bishop and Walternate and various permutations on each character, Noble never repeated himself in our conversations and always impressed with a passion for the subject matter that extended to his hosting duties on Science's "Dark Matters: Twisted But True." Noble probably wasn't worried about the year or two that he spent not being interviewed by HitFix. He did some Australian TV. He guested on CBS' "The Good Wife" a couple times. And he began work on another Fox drama "Sleepy Hollow," in which he got...

The cast and crew of Fox‘s supernatural drama Sleepy Hollow materialized Wednesday evening at PaleyFest to tease the fates of the show’s characters going into fall’s second season. Although January’s S1 finale left the cast in various states of distress and spaces between spaces — Purgatory being one such locale — cast member John Cho‘s presence was testament to the fact that on Sleepy Hollow, as Ep Mark Goffman noted, “You can be dead but that doesn’t mean you’re gone.” Related: Fall 2013 Freshman Series Scorecard: Time Slot Gainers and Slackers The show’s producers promised the return of John Noble as Henry Parrish aka Jeremy Crane aka The Horseman of War in Season 2. And he won’t be alone. “There are a lot of amazing foot soldiers coming, familiar and also original,” teased co-creator/Ep Bob Orci. Fellow co-creator and Ep Len Wiseman hinted that...

(Cbr) Warning: Potential spoilers follow for the season finale! The days of Walter Bishop are long gone, but the reign of Henry Parrish Jeremy Crane is just getting started. TV Line reports that actor John Noble has been promoted from guest star to series regular for the second season of "Sleepy Hollow", set to premiere in the fall. The news comes on the heels of the freshman Fox drama’s recent season-ending twist involving Noble’s character. We’ll refrain from saying anymore here, in case you aren’t up to date on one of TV’s most wonderfully weird new shows. Noble isn’t the only...

On the heels of its bananatown season finale, Sleepy Hollow has promoted two of its cast members. According to THR, John Noble and Lyndie Greenwood will both be series regulars next season. Noble plays — spoiler alert — Jeremy Crane, a.k.a. Henry Parish, a.k.a. the Horseman of War (one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse), whose role had already increased over the course of the season. Greenwood plays Jenny Mills, sister of our heroine Abbie Mills, and recent resident of an inpatient mental-health facility. Aw, man, Sleepy Hollow season two feels like a long way away.

We have two episodes here crammed together to make “event viewing.” The first episode wasn’t bad, it was just kind of pointless, so let’s get through it quickly.

Andy suggests she turn over the bible and Moloch will grant her a seat in “Moloch’s new world order.” Naturally Abbie laughs at this. Meeting up with Ichabod at the archives, he has cracked Washington’s code. Remembering a tale his commanding officer told him, Ichabod looks up the story of Lazarus and finds that Washington’s bible has ten extra verses. Revealing the hidden ink,...

Sleepy Hollow's final episode of the year is its most emotional, and darkest in theme, yet...
This review contains spoilers.
1.10 The Golem
After ten weeks of breakneck speed, big reveals and the prospect of a network show genuinely doing something new, this pre-Christmas break (it’s not really a mid-season finale is it?) episode wasn’t what I expected. It didn’t let the side down at all in terms of entertainment value and quality, of course, but it did take the series – and Ichabod – to some pretty dark places. Is the man we’re dealing with in the final three episodes going to be on some sort of revenge mission? Or just have a lot less to lose? Either way, it’s probable that, by the end of this thirteen-episode first season, Ichabod will most likely be embracing his present more than searching for his past.
