An insider has shared the names of several former cast members from The Challenge with no current interest in returning to the franchise.
The competition series is currently filming MTV’s Season 40, which features a star-studded cast of 40 individuals from various eras.
As that season films, The Challenge: All Stars 4 episodes arrive weekly on Paramount+, and that tends to be a shorter season.
Meanwhile, rumors about All Stars 5 recently dropped, suggesting a significant change in the cast.
With those rumors came an insider posting the names of four people from past seasons of The Challenge.
A few have also appeared on MTV’s competition series quite recently, but they have no desire to participate right now.

With each MTV season and spinoff season of The Challenge, fans immediately have their favorites and non-favorites.
While The Challenge: All Stars 4 is considered a highly anticipated installment of the Paramount+ spinoff, some still question specific cast choices.
In particular, Nicole Zanatta has drawn plenty of criticism for appearing in the iconic cast of MTV stars.
She’ll appear in a group that includes her ex-girlfriend Laurel Stucky, Tony Raines, Cara Maria Sorbello, Leroy Garrett, and Kam Williams.
Nicole recently appeared in a promotional video for the new All Stars season, highlighting several of the cast members’ most embarrassing moments from The Challenge.
That led to multiple critics arriving in the comment section to blast Nicole for being included.

The Challenge has changed a lot throughout the years.
But one former cast member is looking for MTV to throw it all the way back.
Mark Long, who has appeared in the first Road Rules, as well as some of the earlier seasons of The Challenge, wants MTV to produce a season featuring original stars.
Long won the show two times and has a lot of fans.
After seemingly exiting the franchise in 2012, he has a pitch for a special season that would film a season in the U.S. across two weeks.
Currently, seasons film across two to three months and typically take the challengers to other parts of the world, something that might be difficult for some of the veteran cast members.
With families and careers, leaving everything behind for over two months is not something that everyone can agree to.
“How bout an All Old School #2week Challenge instead?...

The Challenge's Sarah Rice unexpectedly faced one of her greatest personal challenges yet. In an interview on her podcast with Susie Meister, The Brain Candy, Rice revealed to listeners that she had been pregnant and was planning to reveal the news to their followers. "The surprise was gonna be that I am pregnant. It was so exciting, it was great. It was so hard to keep my mouth shut," the reality star began. "But, then I got another surprise when I went in for my first ultrasound at 12 weeks and the baby didn't have a heartbeat, so no more baby and I had a miscarriage, so that was really hard." The personal hardship conjured up something she had never...

Here at Et, we're obsessed with a lot of things -- and for the week of June 19 to June 25, this is what we're most excited about:
Why We're Obsessed With 'Boy Band'
While NBC's America's Got Talent has been bringing us solid rounds of auditions, ABC is about to launch their own singing competition with Boy Band. That's right, the twist: Male vocalists battle it out for one of 18 spots in three boy bands to be the next music-group sensation. We have high hopes for this show with Rita Ora as the host, and former Spice Girl Emma Bunton, Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter and rapper Timbaland making up the judging panel. The 10-episode show, created by the team behind Lip Sync Battle, will commence with Carter and Bunton mixing contestants around while viewers will be able to vote to find the best vocal combinations .
