The lineup for this year's Pointless Celebrities series has been announced by BBC One.
Beginning with an August 9 comedy special, the upcoming series will feature different themes each week.
Four teams of two from the world of music, TV, soaps, sport, food and drink, journalism, radio and theatre will compete for charity in weekly specials to air on Saturday evenings on BBC One.
The first show pits Lesley Joseph and Linda Robson from Birds of a Feather against Ronni Ancona and Phil Cornwell, Su Pollard and Ruth Madoc, and Josh Widdicombe and his partner Sara Pascoe.
Standout teams from the series include Stefan Dennis and fellow Neighbours star Rebekah Elmaloglou, who will square off against Ray Quinn and Louis Emerick from Brookside.

Food and Drink is due to return on the BBC next year. MasterChef star Michel Roux Jr will host the new version, which will return to BBC Two for six episodes in 2013. The original series ran on BBC Two from 1982 to 2001. Simon Bates, Jilly Goolden, Oz Clarke and Michael Barry were among the stars of the first run. The BBC stated that Roux Jr will help viewers take on recipes with a host of celebrity chefs, while also examining food trends, consumer issues and other debates and discussions. "It is an honour to be involved in the exciting re-launch of Food and Drink," said Roux Jr. "The original programme inspired many and with Britain's appreciation for good food having grown so much in the last 30 years, I am looking forward to exploring fantastic food and drink with old and new friends." Former ‘Dancing On Ice’ guest judge Angela Rippon is rumoured to have signed up to compete on the ITV show next year.
The 66-year-old star – who had a stint on the ice panel last year while Robin Cousins was working at the Winter Olympics – will take part in the celebrity skating contest, though people are already objecting to her inclusion, arguing she has an unfair advantage over the other contestants.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “This is like judge Dannii Minogue competing on ‘The X Factor’ or Arlene Phillips on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. She’s got an unfair advantage.”
Celebrities who are so far believed to have been signed up for the new show include 90s hip hop star Vanilla Ice, ex-Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona, ‘Loose Women’ host Denise Welch and wine expert Jilly Goolden.

ITV bosses have reportedly signed Brigitte Nielsen for their new series of Dancing On Ice 2011.
The Danish actress is best known for her appearances in the 1985 films Red Sonja and Rocky IV and for her marriage to Sylvester Stallone. She appeared in Celebrity Big Brother, alongside Stallone’s mother Jackie in 2005.
An insider told The Sun: “She was great fun on CBB.”

Rugby star Brian Moore has become the latest celebrity to be linked to ITV’s Dancing On Ice.
The 48 year old previously played as a hooker, and is currently a rugby presenter and pundit on the BBC. He is said to be in training alongside former Steps singer Faye Tozer and wine critic Jilly Goolden for the new series, due to hit our screens in January.
An insider told The Sun: “Producers want as many different famous faces to take part in the show as possible.”
