29 September 2010 12:40 PM, PDT | TVStar | See recent TVStar news »

Castle (TV) hears dead people! Or, at least, their victim believed she could. In an episode befitting start of the Halloween season, Castle tries to convince Beckett (Stana Katic) that not everything can be easily explained when it comes to the world of psychic mediums. When psychic medium Vivian Marchand's (Patricia Tallman) daughter Penny (Rachel Boston) walks into her mother's apartment looking for her, she finds more than she bargained for. After calling her mom's cell phone, the ringing coming from the couch leads Penny to find her mother's body, stabbed with an ice pick and stuffed into the roll-away bed inside the sofa. Castle (Nathan Fillion) has just found out that his own mother, Martha (Susan Sullivan) has a new piece of ice on her finger, compliments of her boyfriend proposing. Martha isn't sure she wants to marry him, however, and while she stews over that dilemma, Castle is called to the crime scene. »
