Many officers are seen wearing the red, white and black pin with a swatiska at its center but the pin is wrongly situated near the left shoulder while the correct place is at the center of the right chest pocket.

At 12:40, the Farsi title of the book "Mythes de la Perse" is printed incorrectly. The words are written from the left to right as opposed to right to left. The characters are individually printed unlike in Farsi. And the top and bottom lines should are swapped.

The translation from French however is correct. The book is clearly a prop. The misprint and the actual translation are visually different and immediately noticeable even to a non-Farsi speaker.

There were plenty of German-Persian dictionaries. It is absurd that an educated man would not have bought one. So he would instantly recognize the invented words. However Koch told Gilles that he wants to speak it and he doesn't care about reading or writing the language.

Early on, Gilles (Reza) addresses Hauptmanfuhrer Koch with the informal "Du" rather than the formal "Sie". Gilles never should have said it in the first place but the German officer should also have been offended and yet he wasn't.
