- This documentary film is about Guerilla filmmaking. Besides it shows what happened from the idea for a screenplay competition, to national press coverage with a call and a film party, where specialist chose the winning screenplay.
- They are the heroes of the film industry. Called Independent Filmmakers. They make films with little or no budget. Those who handle production with the simplest means. They are also not afraid to lend their jewelry or sell their car to make their dream of their own film possible - Guerilla filmmaking. One of them is the American Charles A. Berg. The now successful film producer even lent his parents' house a quarter of a million dollars to make his first film possible. A risky move that almost cost him his house. We met the filmmaker in Van Nuys on the set of his horror film "666: The Child". In this interview, he talks about the dream of a big breakthrough in Hollywood. To do this, we follow the shooting programme. On the other hand, there is the renowned directing coach Mark W. Travis, who teaches indie filmmakers the craft of directing. There is always the question of whether you have to go to a film school or whether the practice is completely different. The participants of his workshop have their own opinion and it becomes clear, that people from every profession feel called to make a film or write a screenplay. A Düsseldorf film company Hebestreit Film Ltd. had called for a screenplay competition nationwide and the result is astonishing. This will be followed by an evening interview with the German actor Marcus Maria Jung, in Santa Monica. The mime has led the Hollywood Acting Workshop (HAW) for years to pave the way for young people from Europe and especially Germany to Hollywood. In the end, it seams like, "Make movies, don't try. Just do it!". The real heroes of Hollywood are not in front of the camera and they do not work for a major studio.
