Fiction novelist, Henry Goodmans wife Aurore has just returned home after spending several months in a hospital for an unknown psychiatric condition that haunted her with nightmarish visions of the future. A condition the doctors say has since been arrested. But as the couple begins to rebuild their marriage, Aurores behavior grows increasingly strange until it eventually culminates with a violent collapse. As Henry seeks out alternative treatments, he encounters a mysterious Doctor who claims his unconventional remedies will heal her. This involves three intensive sessions to which the couple decides to try. While each session sheds new light the nature on her condition, a terrifying truth is revealed that will change the couples entire understanding of reality, fantasy and time.
