Jodi is stunned when Tess offers her half her share of Drovers Run. Tess feels that, as a McLeod, Jodi should have an equity in the family heritage, as well as sharing their current massive debt.

Tess decides to give Jodi half a share in Drovers and sends Jodi off to get their new concept of "Gungellan Fresh natural beef" on the agenda for the Farmers Council Meeting but she doesn't get the support she's looking for. Leo Coombes, the pilot who dumped pesticide on Drovers, returns to plead with Harry Ryan to remove the black ban but when he refuses he goes to Drovers but they refuse to help him either. Next day, Harry's prize bull is found poisoned and Harry believes Leo is responsible and then bullets with Harry's name on them are mailed to him. Meanwhile, Moira finds it hard to get the Drovers women let her work for her board. Elsewhere, Alex asks Stevie to go out drinking and play pool but when she brings up about him telling Fiona he chickens out.—Anonymous

However, Tess is optimistic about the future. In particular, they have hit on the concept of "Gungellan Fresh natural beef" to get a premium for their produce. Leo Coombes, the pilot who dumped pesticide on Drovers Run, returns to the district. His career has been cruelled by Harry and he wants Harry to remove the black ban. Harry refuses and Stevie rejects Leo's request to intercede. When Harry's prize bull is found dead from poisoning, Harry suspects Leo, but there is no clear evidence. Harry is unnerved when he returns home to find a bullet with his initials engraved on it. But it seems Leo has an alibi. Harry is thrown. Who has sent the threat and why? Moira has difficulty getting the over-considerate Drovers women to let her work for her board. She is determined not to be treated as a charity case and forces them to let her accept her help-and her cooking.
