When Alex leaves to study at Harvard and Rosie is left as an accidental single mother in the UK, it seems that they will never be united.
The film is based on Celia Ahern's novel Where Rainbows End.
Tamsin Egerton, Suki Waterhouse, Jaime Winstone and Art Parkinson also star in the film.
Love, Rosie will be released in the UK on October 22 and in the Us on October 24.
