Hugh Jackman: 'I almost cut off penis with Wolverine claw in nude scene'
Hugh Jackman has admitted to nearly cutting off his penis while filming a nude scene for The Wolverine.
The Australian actor had the near miss as he tried to cover himself when he encountered a group of women on set.
Speaking on The Graham Norton Show, he said: "There was a very intense first scene and I insisted on a closed set. I ran round the corner and all the female members of the crew were gathered there.
"I tried to cover myself and cut my inner thigh - it was just the inner thigh thankfully!
"The metal claws had to go - you can't have bits and pieces flying off", he added.
Despite the incident, Jackman said that he "quite enjoyed" being naked on set as it was a "very freeing feeling".
He will next appear as Wolverine in X-Men: Days of Future Past, which will be released on...
