As the horses are walking away from camera, you can see the glimmer of horse shoes on their hooves flashing in the sunlight. For the cavalry soldiers, this is correct. But with the Natives' horses, they did not shoe their horses, but they are also gleaming in the sun with horseshoes.

The cavalryman at General Terry's Tent has a sling on his carbine. The carbine at Little Bighorn would have been a 1873 Springfield and it would have had a saddle ring on its left side, which would have utilized a cavalryman's sling and swivel.

While everyone is waiting for President Grant's response, due before the next full moon, the moon's terminator (the line between light and shadow) apparently moves from left to right. The terminator always moves from right to left.

After leaving Sitting Bull, Parrish and Sam are seen riding at night with a cloudy background. After watering their horses the next day, they are again seen riding at night. . .with the same cloudy background as the night before.

When Custer is assembling his troops consisting of a couple of hundred soldiers, you will notice, if you look close, that in several scenes the rifles that most of the troopers are carrying are BOLT ACTION Mauser rifles instead of the historically correct .45/55 TRAPDOOR SPRINGFIELD CARBINES that were used in the actual battle. Bolt action rifles were not used by the US until about 15-20 years after the Little Big Horn fight. The United States Army didn't officially adopt a bolt action until around 1892. That rifle was the .30/40 Krag.
