- In the summer, 27 year-old Sam drives towards the south of France in his Ford. He meets Matthieu and his sister Léa and takes them along in his apparently aimless journey. Matthieu has a crush on Sam and tries to seduce him. Lea is a beautiful, young, provocative girl who likes men so much that she got pregnant. She soon brings along Jérémie with them. Throughout the trip, they learn to know, fight and love each other. In spite of a blooming relationship with Matthieu, Sam isolates himself because of his secret : he is headed for Spain to find his long-lost mother.
- Honey Kisaragi is Professor Takeshi Kisaragi's daughter. She studies at a religious school from which she likes to escape frequently. Her father orders her to come home one day through a communication device hidden in her earrings. When arrived, she finds her dad killed and a robot in his image with a recorded message for her. She learns from the recording that she is an android created by him. Within her body is the 'Fixed System of Air Elements', a device that can create anything out of air and allows her to transform into different girls, among them, Cutey Honey (sometimes spelled Cutie Honey) a warrior with supernatural powers. Evil organization Panther Claw is after this device and killed Professor Kisagari to get it. Now, their bosses, Sister Jill and Panther Zora are after Cutey Honey who swears she will get her revenge, and kill each and every one of the Panther Claw agent that the organization will send her. Her friends Seiji, Junpei, Danbei and others will help her.
- David Compton leaves his expectant French girlfriend Louise Boucher, a dancer at the Moulin Rouge, for the war where he loses his memory. Building a new life from scratch after the war, he gets married in London. Louise, now a mother, thinks him dead. She becomes a famous dancer under the name Deloryse but falls gravely ill. One night, as David is in the audience of her show, he recovers his memory. After she learns that David is married to another woman, Louise puts her son in the care of David's new wife and, accepting a dancing job at a party, she dies there of exhaustion and sorrow.
- This is a coming of age story that tells of two best friends, Ben and Thomas, and a summer they'll never forget. 16 years old, their lives are based on two things, skateboarding and meeting girls (and not necessarily in that order). While working their way through this confusing maze, their friendship is tested in ways they never expected.

Thankfully, it was all a dream.
- Tartarin is the local hero in the small provincial town of Tarascon. He shows off about imaginary adventures in Africa, where he has never been, as a Lion Hunter, which he is only in his imagination. Even though the locals know he has never been to Africa, they keep hoping he will leave one day. After a misunderstanding, and much gossip, everyone thinks that Tartarin plans to actually take the trip. Initially reluctant, he is eventually convinced by his friend Bravida, who warns him about the growing shame the delay has caused him all across town. Tartarin meets an ex-convict on the train who calls himself a Prince and offers to travel with him to Algeria, in the hope of stealing his money with the help of a girl, Baïa. Tartarin leaves for the desert and as soon as the first lion is in sight, the "Prince" escapes with his money. Tartarin shoots the lion and gets arrested by the local police because the animal was a blind sacred lion. He is condemned to pay a fine for which he must sell his weapons since his money was stolen. He sends the lion skin to Tarascon, and after having learned the truth about Baïa and the Prince, Tartarin, feeling stupid, decides to go back home. Expecting to have to move to another town, he is surprised at the station by all the inhabitants, anxious to meet the lion killer they are so proud of.
- Sari, daughter of Count Thurzo, and son of a shoemaker Franz Pless, both Hungarian, fall in love while they are in the USA. They are about to get married when Sari is called back to Europe, and when Franz goes after her he learns that he must serve three years of military service. Fate makes him serve under the orders of Baron von Heimberg, whom Count Thurzo wants his daughter to marry. That Baron, although already in a relationship with Ilona, wants that marriage and makes Franz his orderly. The Count's announcement of marriage makes Franz assault the Baron, and he is banned as a result. But Ilona has a few tricks up her sleeve.
- Marcel works as assistant to a jeweller whose bossy daughter Renée keeps hitting on him. When he meets lovely Loulou and her lazy friend Jo, he is fascinated by the girl and somehow attracted by their world : Loulou and Jo are crooks. As Marcel naively tries to bring some morality in their lives, the pair turn him into an unwilling accomplice in the robbery of his boss's jewels.
- Bastien and Ségard decide to leave France for Canada. They wait for the departure of their ship in a hotel recommended by Hidoux, an old porter that they met at the station. They drink around town and Bastien meets Émilienne in a bar while Ségard falls in love with the hotel servant girl Thérèse. When the day of the departure comes, the ship's engine break soon after they leave the port. Forced to stay one more week in the Hotel, they find a temporary job. One night, Bastien offers Thérèse some champagne and the two end up making love on the beach. When the engine is fixed, Bastien decides to stay with Thérèse and writes a letter to Ségard about it. Ségard, disappointed, boards the ship alone.
- M. Martinet has two daughters Floflo and Lulu, and a passion: boxing. He hires a new boxer named Jim Bougne, who has just arrived from the USA to give lessons to his daughters. He also happens to expect the girls to marry a boxer. When he surprises Lulu with her sweetheart Maurice, who hates boxing, Lulu pretends he is actually Jim Bougne. And when the actual Jim comes along, she locks him up in a closet. Martinet, suspicious, warns Maurice that he will stick with him until the evening when Jim Bougne is supposed to fight with Professor Orino and Marcel Dantesse. Maurice will fight bravely to win the fight and his girl.
- Maud March, the rebellious daughter of a a millionaire, goes to New York to see her sweetheart Geoffrey who left town years ago. Her aunt Carolyn wants Maud to marry her son Reggie and sends the girl's brother Percy after her to act as chaperon. Maud, trying to escape, enters a taxi where she meets handsome composer George Bevan. The man falls in love with the young lady who, when she sees Geoffrey has become fat and ugly, soon agrees to marry George.
