New Detroit has been revitalized through an agency called Butterfly who's purpose is to seek out and hire the most talented individuals and artists to contribute their biggest ideas to helping promote patriotism and stimulate the economy.
Agent Janice Monroe (Kelly Kirstein) and her bodyguard, The Extractor (Didrik Davis), have apprehended the most deadly threat to the sanctity of Butterfly and New Detroit, terrorist Jason Arthur (Sheldon Simmons). They have apprehended and inconspicuously transported him to a condemned office in a forgotten part of the city. Their goal is to interrogate and strike a deal with Arthur regarding the very elusive tool he has designed that will either save millions of lives or lead to the vain abuse of its potential depending on who gets their way.
What exactly is this tool? As the dialogue driven plot slowly burns away, truths will come to fruition and masks melt away.
Also starring Lauren Kole as the mastermind Anna Vanderhoff, Thieves was made for less than $300 and portrays one single scene in one room.
