- For 25 years, Elli ran a farm in provincial Bavaria alongside her husband. The heavy work never left the two much time for contemplative togetherness: pragmatism instead of romance determined their togetherness. But despite all the hardships, after the unexpected death of her husband, Elli is determined to continue the business. Elli cannot expect any help from her daughter Kathrin, who works in a luxury hotel in Munich, and her son Christian, whose Thai wife Alicha runs a hairdressing salon in the village. Her bank advisor Kurt also urges her to sell the heavily indebted farm as quickly as possible. But the militant farmer's wife ignores this advice as well as Kurt's amorous advances. She wants to take her life into her own hands, and that includes finding love again - a man who can lend a hand on the farm without spoiling the romantic relationship. For this purpose, she enlists the help of a dating agency, where she is classified as "difficult to place" due to her job. In fact, at first only odd types and aging couch potatoes seem to seek contact - and even their interest dwindles as soon as they find out about Elli's job. Raymond, from Zimbabwe alone, is undeterred by the prospect of living on a farm. When they first meet, the two immediately like each other, with his down-to-earth, reserved nature, the African can immediately win Elli over. Without further ado, she offers him to move in with her on a trial basis. However, the mismatched couple causes irritation in the village. The men in particular view the dark-skinned Africans with suspicion and prejudice. Even Ellis' own son, although married to a foreigner himself, is skeptical about the new man at his mother's side. But Elli doesn't want to let her new happiness be destroyed that easily. She defends Raymond against all hostilities. However, when he is denounced by a villager at the immigration office, Elli dares a courageous step to save Raymond from safe deportation.
- Bad Tölz in 1988 - Commissioner Walter Degenhardt (Adnan Erten) is returning from a trip with his lover Patrizia Lehmann (Katharina Abt) when a detonation shakes the air. As the investigation will later show, it is about the explosion of a letter bomb - addressed to the owner of the Pension Freiheit. Degenhardt and his colleague Rio Hartmann (Luky Zappatta) take on the tricky case. But then two officials from the BND suddenly took over the investigation. A little later Patrizia Lehmann is found dead. And Degenhardt is firmly convinced that his lover, with whom he wanted to start a new life because of his desolate marriage, was murdered. Now there is no stopping the two commissioners, who could not be more different. They begin to research on their own and thus track down a gang of people smugglers and the Stasi. With the help of a Franciscan priest and the shrewd policeman Stevie, they just manage to prevent another murder and hunt down the two Stasi agents.
- The time is 1850 and the place is the Austro-Hungarian Empire. An uprising against Emperor/Kaiser Franz Josef has been suppressed and all have been forgiven---if still living---except a young Captain, Joseph Foldessy, who is working, under an assumed name, for Count Graf Paalen. He falls in love with Christ'l, daughter of the Imperial Forester. The Emperor arrives as the guest of the count, and Christ'l runs across him in the forest and, mistaking him for a minor court official, detain him for poaching. Foldessy's true identity becomes known to the secret police and he is arrested. Christ'l appeals to her newly-found friend, whose real identity she does not know, to get her an audience with the Emperor so that she can plead Foldessy's case. The request is granted and she then learns the identity of her new friend, who grants a pardon to her lover, who immediately surmises that Christ'l and the Emperor are having an affair. The Emperor straightens that incorrect assumption out, also.
- Mathias Kneissl was Bavaria's last genuine robber. The movie, based on 19th century historical sources, depicts the last year in the life of this famous outlaw and folk-hero. At the age of 23 he is released from jail after completing an unjustified sentence of six years. He now goes astray to rob the money for his and his girlfriend's emigration to America. After shooting a policeman, Mathias Kneissl remains at large for a number of months. Not until he is betrayed by his girlfriend did the police track him down, three hundred soldiers surrounding the barricaded farmhouse in which he his hiding. The ensuing siege lasts several days. Finally, severely wounded, Kneissel is pulled from the farmhouse ruins. He recovers in a Munich hospital only to be executed in 1902. He is 27 years old.
- Caliph Stork tells the story of two friends, Casper and Pepper, who find a mysterious magical book filled with secrets. With its help they are able to fly on a magic carpet from Germany to a far away kingdom where they unintentionally land in the midst of three evil sorcerers. Before they know it, Casper and Pepper fall under their spell and are transformed into a stork and a frog and are left to fend for themselves in the desert. And this is where their adventure really begins in 3D.
