Succession (2018)
For those giving up after 2 episodes
What exactly is your deal as a viewer? I didn't like Breaking Bad or Peaky Blinders or Prison Break at first. Despite those being different genres, they're likeable shows. If you don't have the maturity as an audience to let a show build up to something brilliant, and are as impatient as a stubborn little child, this show is definitely not for you. If you cannot allow a show a couple episodes to set the tone, try Family Guy seasons 1-10, you'll find some funny episodes. Succession is not just dark comedy. There's a lot more depth and subtlety to it. Good luck on leaving after episode 1. I wouldn't want anyone impatient or immature to continue this anyway.
Homeland: Tower of David (2013)
Easily the worst Homeland episode
So far, this is the worst episode, easily. This doesn't even seem like Homeland. Let me pretend I didn't watch this lame episode and hope the episodes ahead make some sense.
Dexter: Surprise, Motherf**ker! (2012)
Paused the episode to give a 10
This is undoubtedly one of the 4 best episodes of Dexter. The element of surprise, love, shock, intrigue - make it a very compelling season finale.
The Queen's Gambit (2020)
Inflated rating - overrated show
You might enjoy this show if you do not have much experience of having watched quality tv. However, I am an avid chess fan who follows most tournaments and I am a tv series addict by night.
This show doesn't have the 'it' factor and the main character is somewhat annoying. The cinematography is decent and so is the portrayal of the time period. The story doesn't 'lead' anywhere worth mentioning and it's just a series of events happening in the life of an addict who happens to play good chess. Of course this show deserves 5-6 stars but i rated 1 only in the hope of balancing out the wrongfully high rating so that people looking for quality tv don't invest their time on this.
I enjoyed Toby Maguire's portrayal of Bobby Fischer in a movie in 'Pawn Sacrifice' and that was simply a treat to watch. Tv shows have a ton of time to build a great story than movies do as movies only last a couple hours. So yeah I wish i had avoided this.
Deadwood (2019)
I cried for you Al
Probably my favourite character on television. Al Swearengen take a bow
