Ghosts (2021)
Carol?
What was the reason that they got rid of Flower, who actually didn't add anything to the stories, and replaced her with Carol who actively makes the story lines worse? If they were going to get rid of Flower they should have just left it at that. Adding Pete's wife looks to me like a dead end. Hopefully it's just a short story arc and she goes away.
Why do they make you write a novella in order to post a review? Why can't I just say I didn't like something and this is the reason why? Do I have to write an in-depth character analysis for each role and then deconstruct the back story and artistic choices each actor uses and why?
Hey, look at that, I got to the limit and didn't even realize it.
Extended Family (2023)
Truly lame
I wanted to see this to give Jon Cryer a chance. In Two and 1/2 men I found him to be whiny and somewhat effeminate and this show does nothing to change my mind.
The jokes are telegraphed at least a beat or two before the payoff but the laugh track howls in appreciation. "Jokes," being very, very generous on my part. He's divorced, again, (like two and 1/2 men) bald, (not like two and a 1/2 men) but guess what? The other male lead, also bald, I'm assuming the writers wanted to convey that the wife has a type. I guess I would have never figured it out for myself.
I wanted to see if Cryer could carry a show on his own. My opinion is, he cannot.
Call Me Kat (2021)
Really bad
This show is a joke, and not in a good way.
Probably the worst piece of s**t I've seen in years.
